OURS! (sequel to MINE!)

chapter sixteen

Nova's pov-

darkness clouded my vision, my body was heavy and UN-moving an, to my knowledge, i hadn't moved a muscle but my breaths came out in hard erratic pants, like i had just run a marathon

"Nova" his dark voice  taunted me stalking me from in front of my closed lids i quivered with ever short intake of breath

i struggled to imagine how mangled my body was under his care and after all this time i found myself reaching out to my mate,

out to Daniel.

i found his name drifting past my lips as my body craved his touch he appeared in front of me and i reached out for him whimpering his name pleading for him to stay as he waved a good bye to me as he disappeared in a flurry for crimson

my body jolted up and i sucked in a sharp breath my head hammering to the same beat as my heart as my eyes slid open the room was dark and Kieara whimpered in a noise of fear

and i started to sob

curling my body into a tight ball i wailed, my throat burning with the noise unsure how long i was like that but when the people entered i cried harder tensing for the beating i knew i was to receive

screaming as hands grabbed my body and struggled against their hold calling for my mate but no noise came from my throat

"open your eyes Nova" a feminine voice reached my ears as i was held tightly and prevented from struggling

hesitantly i pried my eyes open to be welcome to a dimly lit room and if i remembered correctly my cell had no lights my eyes then turned to a women with blue hair,

 and i only knew one women with hair that shade

"Amy?" i tried to speak but no sound came

giving up on my voice i wrapped my arms around her shoulders and sobbed into her neck and she cried to

"goddess nova we thought we lost you" she croaked out rubbing soothing circles on my back "and Daniel never left you side" she whispered "speaking of the devil he should be here soon"

her words made my stomach churn with joy but no sooner did she say that a loud crash sounded from beyond where i thought the door was

i leaped into Amy's lap and she didn't seem to mine she turned her head and talked to someone words that i couldn't hear as the doors were pushed open Amy growled

"who are you?"

"Felix"

at the name my head perked catching sight of the dark blue eyes and dark colored hair

"you're not allowed in here, leave" Amy's alpha tone called out

but the moment his eyes found mine he was to my side bowing his head slightly before smiling at

"are you okay?" he asked disregarding Amy's alpha order i could  almost imagine her dropped jaw

a growl sounded somewhere from the back of the room i knew that belonged to Michael

fresh tears streamed down my face i reached out a hand and he touched his palm to mine something that only we could do between each other

'no' i said through the link he nodded his head

'i saw your mate on the way speaking of which' he backed away from me and off the bed he had leaned over to get to me just as another smash sounded across the room i stiffened

"arg, that knuckle head" Amy muttered angrily

her arms receded from around my body and her body vanished from mine i cried out at the lack of contact until a new, stronger pair wrapped around my body and sparks flew across my skin as i felt the bond i knew he weakened rekindle and i felt myself call out once more

"don't let me go!"

"i wouldn't dream of it little one" was his fluid answer
