Forever Alone

no life, no love,

all they wanted to do was get me rid of

not one even, to call a friend,

no one to laugh with, money to lend

the street as my home,

my hands for a comb

where did my life go?

as I sit here on the street

I used to be so happy, life was so sweet

everyone loved me,

I had money and all

but without them,

all I could do was fall

they left me one by one,

to go their own ways,

and here I am, remembering those happy days

they left me, they did,

from behind a wall of lies, they hid

a tear down my cheek,

raw and cold,

like a toy, I was sold

all that love I thought was true,

away with the wind, it blew

forever alone, in a world full of pain

as I hope for someone over and over again
