He didn't expect to see her. His only daughter; it's been years since he's last seen her. He thought Isabel would hate him for what happened. Yet here she is, in front of him.
"Isabel. . ."
"Hi, father. . ."
"You've grown into a good women."
"I guess I have. . ."
"I'm sorry for what happened back then. . ."
"I don't hate you father. . . I love you and appa too much."
"I'm sure he feels the same way Isabel."
Isabel and her father talked about their lives for about an hour. He told her stories about her childhood that she couldn't remember. It made him so happy to see his daughter after eleven years. Just to know she didn't hate him made him happy. If only it could always be like this, but he already knows that's a lie.
"Father. . . can you please tell me what happened that day?"
He knew she would ask, but that doesn't mean he was going to reject the question. She deserves to know why it all happened. She deserves to know why he's no longer here.
"Just know that I really loved him."
