Tyler Joseph's parents are dead. he killed his dad and his mom had passed a while before. Tyler lived by himself, and consistently went out into a forest and stare at the branch covered sky, wishing he was okay, and that Josh could find someone who was actually mentally stable. he felt so bad for the way he was, but he wasn't able to fix himself. Tyler can't afford therapy so he smokes to numb pain in his mind.

Tyler's phone rang, he saw who it was, he couldn't face Josh at this moment. instead he cried.
he cried of happiness that Josh was awake, he cried because of his grief, cried because he didn't want to see Josh until he was happy.
