"Karen" the nurse walks on holding my baby. "Congratulations on your daughter!" she hands the small child to me.
"Awwwww! She's so adorable!" I gush as she leaves the room, leaving me alone with the baby. "It's so ugly, how is this my child?" I mutter under my breath. "It better be as smart as me and Randy."
The baby has big green eyes and wisps of brown hair on her tiny head, and skin so white, like a porcelain doll. Are they sure she isn't an albino?
The door opened and my husband walked in. By the look on his face, I could tell what he thought about the tiny creature in my arms.
And I agreed.
