I wake up to the sound of faint yelling next to me. Then the sound of harsh tapping on a screen.

I roll over and open my eyes. Dominic is sitting up in bed, his phone to his ear.

"Yes, there is a lady and man in my poolhouse with my children." He pauses. "The lady seems to have blonde hair. The eyes, blue or green. The man seems to either have dirty blonde or brown hair. He has vibrant green eyes." A pause. "I'm watching through a security camera that I've installed."

Dominic installed cameras? When? Where? And did he say that there are PEOPLE in our poolhouse with OUR CHILDREN?

I sit up, alarmed at the fact that there are strangers in our poolhouse with our kids.

Dominic is still talking. "Uh-huh, yes. 667 Pinetree Drive." he lists his cell number.

He puts his phone down and faces me.

"What's going on?" I ask, pasting a look of calm on my face. But my voice betrays me, and comes out high and squeaky.

"Listen..." he starts to explain.
