ALLY

"We have to go outside," I whispered, pulling away. Luke's ever persistent lips followed mine, remaining a hairs-breath away as he slowly opened his eyes.

"No we don't," he answered, leaning forward to press his lips against mine. I allowed myself to bask in the feeling of his body against mine before I pulled away again. He groaned and slowly focused his glazed eyes on mine. "Why?" He whined, frowning.

"Because there's a huge pack out there that came to see you, and you're in here making out with me."

"But I like making out in her. They can wait." He leaned down again, darting in to sweep me into a kiss that almost made me forget my point. Almost.

"No, Luke," I scolded, pulling back. "I'm hungry and we need to go outside." I ducked out of his arms, and sprinted to the door. Knowing Luke, if I didn't move, fast, I wouldn't make it outside. Already I could hear his baritone chuckle behind me, closer then I wished.

"You should know you can't run from me by now Ally," he laughed, catching my arm just as I was reaching for the door handle.

"Lucas I-don't-know-your-middle-name Winters, we are going outside right now because I want to meet your pack." No, I really didn't, in fact, I was kind of freaking out. But that was the first excuse that came to mind other then the fact that I was hungry.

"Ryan," he stated, reaching around me to slide open the door.

"What?" I asked, tilting my head up to watch his face.

"My middle name is Ryan. And its our pack, not mine Alpha Ally." He winked and then turned to tug me out the door. "Time to meet the pack!"

LUKE

"Time to get food," Ally muttered, reaching out to wrap her small hand in mine. I grinned and twisted my hand to twine our fingers, using our twined hands to drag her outside. I knew she was nervous, it was coming off of her in waves. But I needed her to know that I was with her through everything. I'd die for her.

Wow. John was right. I was whipped.

"LUKE!" I ducked just in time to avoid the un-named object that was flying at my head, snapping my arm out to catch it in mid-air. A football.

"Who the hell is playing football at the table?" I growled, narrowing my eyes at the group of sheepish looking teenage boys near the end of the table.

"Oh come on Luke, we now you're not mad!"

"I'm furious little cousin. Furious." I couldn't hide my grin at his sceptical look. These boys really knew me too well.

"No you're not," Jamie smirked, sticking his tongue out at me. I mirrored his smirk, slowly de-attaching my hand from Ally's and stalking in his direction. At least he had the common sense to run.

He didn't make it very far.

They never did.

I tackled Jamie to the ground a few feet from the table he had been at, straddling his waist.

"Say it."

"Never!" He cried, thrashing around beneath me. Let me tell you, even despite the fact that he was a fully shifted werewolf, with complete training, there was no possible way for him to move me. I was a rock. A rock with powers.
