The black hands had dissappeared and Meliodas and the other sins were rushing forwards into the center of the circle to find Elizabeth. But the girl they found in the circle was not Elizabeth but a girl with long blond hair, a white top and a short black skirt. She looked terrified and as soon as the sins reached the center of the circle the strange girl had started to run towards the woods the formed a perimeter around the circle,
"Wait! Get back here! What have you done with Elizabeth?!" Diane asked the girl as she, Ban, Meliodas, King, Hawk and Merlin ran after her.
King flew ahead and used chastifull to block the girl from entering the woods. Everyone else formed a kind of semi circle around the girl, blocking her in,
"What have you done with Elizabeth? Who are you? Where is Elizabeth? If you don't start answering I swear I will step on you." Threatened Diane
"Hold on Diane look at her she looks terrified, I am guessing she has no idea what is going on and she is probably just as confused as us. Before we threaten her lets first ask her name." Said King whilst looking at the girl who was trying to find an exit.
"I don't care who she is, I just want her to bring Elizabeth back, she knows something I know that!" Meliodas said to King and turned to the girl.
Everyone knew from the look on his face that he was determined to get the girl to talk. The girl started to calm down but still looked terrified, then Ban suggested that the take her back to the Boar hat, to make her more comfortable, and Merlin went up to the girl slowly and said
"We don't want to hurt you we are just going to go back to our place and try to sort out everything. Will you come with us?" At first the girl was resilient but soon nodded and followed them back.
They asked the girl questions all day and she had said nothing, not even her name. As the sun started to set Diane, Meliodas, King, Ban, Merlin and Hawk decided that they would stop questions and also decided to sleep outside in case Elizabeth came in the night as everyone started to settle down and were about to go to sleep the girl spoke,
"Winry." She whispered just loud enough for everyone to hear,
"What did she say?" Asked Hawk
"Winry" She said a little louder
"Is that your name, Winry? Asked Diane
"My name is Winry Rockbell." Said Winry
"Well Winry my name is King," said King " That Ban, Diane, Merlin, Hawk and the captain Meliodas, we are the seven deadly sins." King pointed at each of his team mates as he said their name,
"How come there are only five of you when you say there is supposed to be seven? "Asked Winry,
"One of out team members is missing and one is at the capital with a holy knight. We are on a quest to find the seventh sin." Said Ban "now do you mind telling us something about you like how you got here and where is our friend."
"I was visiting family in central, and I was staying with them, they are calledEdward and Alophonse. They were called out to the outskirts of town and I requested to go with them. There was a huge circle and Colonel Mustang had said that some of my belongings were inside the circle so we went to have a look. He took me, Ed and Al in to the center of the circle to show us the markings when these black flames appeared and moved in to the circle, everyone was panicking Ed, Al and Mustang tried to do alchemy but couldn't they were knocked out of the circle and when I tried to leave the center it wouldn't let me. The flames grew so high, I couldn't tell how high, I heard a laugh that seemed to come from the ground itself, I screamed. The next thing I knew I was standing in front of you. My instincts told me to run so I did. I don't know where your friend is but I assume that if I am here, wherever here is, then this Elizabeth must be where I came from. She must be in central. If she is, shes safe, Ed will look after her." Winry explained,
At these last words everyone looked at Winry taking in what she had just said
"So she's safe" Asked Meliodas "will they hurt her?"
"She is going to be questioned but she should be safe. If she calls Ed short then she could be screamed at but they will protect her with their lives. Trust me." At this last sentence Winry had a look of sadness in her eyes.
When Winry confirmed that Elizabeth was safe everyone seemed like a huge weight had been lifted of their shoulders.
As the sun rose Meliodas and the other sins woke up and found that Winry was already up and talking with Hawk. They could hear her saying to Hawk that he was amazing and that she had never seen anything like him. Ban was cooking breakfast and everyone had decided that they would go to the circle after they had eaten to see if they could find any clues.
They got to the circle about two minutes after they had eaten and the first they thing they noticed was that the grass surrounding the circle had turned black. Winry was weary about going back into the center of the circle but agreed when Hawk said he would stay with her,
"You said black flames grew from the ground it was different with us." Said Diane "there was not any flames but there were tiny black hands. But the belongings were there too. Not ours but Elizabeths, do you know what that's about?",
"Wait black hands.That sounds like Pride but he is now innocent and under constant supervision, plus he is only a child now. I don't think it could be him but he has tried to kill everyone quite a lot so it could be him but I don't know sorry. The belongings part seems that it was the only way to get the specific people into the circle." Winry said whilst scratching her head
"Pride do you mean the emotion? How could an emotion controls little hands?" Asked Ban as he made little hand motions
"It is a long story an evil man named Father turned his emotions into people Pride, Envy, Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth and Wrath." Explained Winry
"That sounds a lot like us, but we have tried to kill anoyone thats good, we fight for the king. As you said, long story." Merlin said,
"Hey come here look at this" shouted Meliodas
Everyone ran over to see what he was pointing at.
In the ground, in the center of the circle was a black hand holding a torch of black fire.
