Wrenches

The car ride back to the hotel was ,lets say, less than pleasant. Ed was lost in his own mind and Alophonse was talking to Elizabeth 

"Does this happen a lot to you then?" Alophonse asked her "I'm only asking because you seem quite calm." Elizabeth just looked at him and smiled 

"It doesn't happen that often but I tend not to worry about these things I will just try my best to do whatever I can to he..." before she could finish her sentence Ed screamed

"IT MAKES NO SENSE! Why would this guy, person, thing take Winry from our world and Elizabeth from her world only to then show up to tell us whatever the hell it is that is encrypted in that dumb poem!" His face became very red with anger when he mentioned the poem 

"Brother calm down your face is going that colour when you get mad" Alophonse tried to calm his older brother down with little success. 

The car pulled up in front of the hotel and they all got out the car. Mustang and Riza had stayed very quiet throughout the car ride and were apparently lost in the depths of their minds.

"Fullmetal, Alophonse I am putting you two in charge of Elizabeth's safety. She will stay with you in the hotel." Mustang ordered them.

 Edward, Alophonse and Elizabeth walked up the steps to the hotel while Mustang got back in the car with lieutenant Hawkeye, which started heading back to central HQ. The three of them walked up towards the rooms of the hotel but instead of going into his own room Ed walked into Winry's room and started searching for something

"Um, excuse me Edward, may I ask what your looking for?" Elizabeth asked, standing in the doorway with Alophonse behind her

"Oh, yeah, I'm looking for a wrench that Winry always has on her I was thinking in the car, before everything went to hell, that she might have left it in her room. The one in the circle couldn't possibly be the real one, Winry would never loose it like that" Ed looked down with a hint of a blush growing on his face

"Brother do you really think Winry would leave the room without her wrench. She never goes anywhere without it" Alophonse told Ed laughing slightly 

"If you don't mind me asking why does Winry always carry a wrench?" Elizabeth asked curiously 

"Well its mostly for repairs on Ed's auto-mail but whenever she gets really mad it turns into a weapon" Al explained to Elizabeth 

"Yeah I have the dents in my skull to prove it" Ed grunted whilst rubbing his head

"She always hit you when you'd destroyed your arm or when you really annoyed her" Alophonse remembered laughing the tiniest bit

"WELL DON'T THINK YOUR SO INNOCENT WHEN I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL I COULD HEAR WINRY SCREAMING AND THROWING HER WRENCH AT YOU FROM THE ROOF...YEAH I HEARD IT ALL" Ed yelled at his brother trying to defend himself but failing miserably.

 Elizabeth just stood there throughout their entire argument trying not to let the giggles escape. She failed.

"Hahahahahaha I really like the sound of Winry I hope I get to meet her. But why were you looking for her wrench in the first place? If she always has it with her then she would have it with her in Liones" She asked after she stopped laughing 

"It doesn't matter but I feel sorry for the Sins because if they annoy her she will throw her wrench at them when they least expect it, she vicious that way" Edward said pausing as he realised he wouldn't be losing any blood to Winry's wrench anytime soon.

 His face seemed to drop as he realised that

"I'm sure she's fine Edward" Elizabeth said smiling at the now blushing boy
