Saturday evening

I started to get ready for this evening with Matt. I'm super excited to have a date night with him and to spend time with him. Matt told me that he and Abbie had done half of their project, which I couldn't really care about, he also said that nothing happened between them. I believe him

Since it was warm outside, I wore my light blue mom jeans and a white lacey top, with a blue and white checkered flannel on top. I curled my hair and applied some makeup.

So far, my brothers just thought I was doing some work in my room, but I knew the only way out was the front door, meaning I'd have to walk straight past them

There was a knock at my door, and without any warning, Corey walked in

Busted

"I COULDVE BEEN NAKED" I whisper yelled

"You're supposed to be working" he hissed "I'm gonna tell Brandon"

I grabbed his arm "Please don't"

Corey shut the door behind him and stood in front of it, folding his arms "Why shouldn't I? You lied to him. You're not working"

"I'm off on a date with Matt, please please try to help me sneak out" I pleaded

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't"

I thought for a moment "Because you don't want to get me into trouble? Please, I'm begging you"

He shook his head "You know we don't like you going out on a night"

"Corey, please just help me" I did my best puppy dog eyes

"One condition" he spoke

"Anything"

"You have to do my chores for two weeks. That includes doing my washing, cleaning my room, doing the dishes, all my usual chores"

"Fine" i huffed

"Oh and you have to give me £20" he added

I couldn't say no, so I pulled out a note from my purse and handed it to him

"Deal?" I asked

He nodded and smiled "I'll create a distraction"

Corey went downstairs and i waited a few seconds, then, I got a text from him

Coast is clear xxxxx

I ran downstairs and out of the front door, locking it behind me and hurrying out, quickly typing a message as I walked to the end of our street

Matt was picking me up at the end of our street so I wouldn't be seen

I went downstairs holding the note from Alexa, grinning ear to ear and went into the kitchen

"WHATS THIS?" I shouted

All boys came into the kitchen, and I quickly text Alexa telling her the coast was clear

"What?" Brandon asked

"I saw something run along the garden" I lied

Brandon flicked my head "It was probably next doors car. Idiot"

I turned red "Sorry guys...false alarm!"

Elliott rolled his eyes "You're nearly as stupid as Alexa!"

Instead of arguing, I just brushed off the comment and followed them into the living room, where we decided to switch on Netflix and watch Luther

Matt pulled up in his car, I smiled as soon as I saw him, he makes me feel so good inside and outisde

"Hey beautiful girl" he winked, as I sat up front with him

"Hi Matt" I grinned, buckling my belt in

He leant in and kissed my lips, it was only a few seconds but I felt amazing. Our lips connected and moved in perfect sync

Thrning the engine on, Matt drove off and we headed for the Cinema and restaurants. The windows were down and the cool air was hitting my face

"Let's put some music on" he commented, handing me the Aux cord "Play your favourite music"

I went onto my Spotify and went to my car playlist, the music I play on long car journies and that have strong connections for me

I found a love for me

Ed Sheeran's song, Perfect, began playing, I turned the volume up and began singing along to it

"Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet

"You're so good!" Matt praised me "How did you learn to sing so good?"

I turned the volume down slightly "Aw Matt! Thanky you! I just learnt really, picked it up really"

For me, Perfect basically explains that you can meet someone at such a young age, and be so in love with them, that you're still together many years later. I like that idea of growing old with the one you love, meeting as kids and seeing it through til the end
