Arriving at the restaurant, I was in awe of the multiple dishes on offer, all ranging from different cuisines, American, British, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Indian....my stomach was rumbling and my eyes widened seeing all the food spread out, I do love food

"This place has so much food" Elliott rubbed his belly "I am starving"

"Mmm I'm so hungryyyy" Brandon whined, licking his lips "Let's get seated and get eating"

We ordered some drinks and then started to pile our plates, pizzas, chips, curries, chicken, we all had ate to our hearts content

"Please lets have a 'cheers', lift up your drinks" Elliott said, as we all lifted our drinks

"What are we doing this for?" I laughed, as we all raised our drinks

"Here's to new beginnings, for us, for mum, to stick together and work things out, rather than fighting it. Here's to being a family" he announced

We all clicked our drinks together and took a drink

It made me feel good knowing we were all having new starts. For one, mum was getting married, two, I was beginning to be treated as a 17 year old, and for three, we would work things out instead of fighting and arguing

"I've never been to a wedding" I stated, thinking about Mum's next year

Luke put his forkful of Curry down "Are you excited for it?"

"It's next year, I've not really processed the thought properly"

"I expected Mum and whats-his-face would end up getting married. Dad's an idiot, mum deserves better than someone like that" Elliott replied

"What if they have kids?" the sudden thought came to my mind "What if he has kids? I don't know what I'd do if he's got sons!! More brothers, no way!"

"What's wrong with having brothers?" Luke pretended to be offended

I swallowed my mouthful of Sweet and Sour chicken and smiled slightly "Nothing, I just don't know what I'd do if I found our I've got step siblings"

"There's not a lot you could do, silly" teased Brandon

"If they have a kid together, I ain't baby-sitting, one of you guys can do it" Corey raised his hands in the air

Brandon laughed "Whatever happens, he's not our new father; but we have to be nice to him"

Third Person

The siblings ate as much as they could, whilst laughing and chatting to each other as a group. No arguments or negativity was around. Only positivity was radiating

"No matter what happens, I am here for you" Brandon turned to his little sister as they sat at the table alone

The rest of the group were getting food, leaving them time to talk

Alexa gave her brother a hug, something she has done a lot recently

"Thank you Brands" her face lit up slightly knowing she had her brother on her side

Having older brothers meant that Alexa always had someone looking out for her, something she'd soon realise would be important

Two hours later, we had finally eaten as much as we could. Brandon had paid, treating us all, bless him. I looked and saw I had a text from Matt...

Hi babe, so sorry, I've just seen this..Abs and I were in the library trying to do this project xx

"Abs" I scoffed, laughing at the nickname "Matt's got a stupid nickname for blondie"

"Who's blonde?" Luke asked as we left the restaurant

"This girl in Matt's chemistry. She seems to be getting along well with my boyfriend!" I rolled my eyes "I mean if he loves me then he won't do anything"

Corey flung his arm round me "True that sis. He's a loyal guy"

However, he didnt seem sure in what he was saying, almost like he didn't believe his own comment

I waited until we arrived home to question, I didn't want to cause a scene in the middle of the car and distract Brandon from the driving
