"Thanks again for letting me stay the night Brooke." I say as I grab my skateboard. "Of Course. Now go and get your girl before that Asshole decides to hit her up again" Brooke says I roll my eyes chuckling "If he does I'll call you so we can kick his ass." I say as she laughs "That's the spirit! Now go dude!" She says practically shoving me out of her house. I chuckled as I skated down to the elevator and then through the lobby not caring if the manager yelled at me. Once I had made it to Ashley's place I took a few deep breaths and went over everything I was going to tell her. I gave myself a pep talk and then I knocked on the door. She opened the door and I took a glance up at her. There were dark circles around her eyes and her nose was red. My heart sank to my stomach. "Dani?" She asked I nodded "Um can we talk?" I ask cautiously. She nodded as she moved slightly to let me. I walked in and relaxed as I stepped into the familiar apartment. I sat down on the couch as Ashley closed the door and came to join me. The silence was very awkward so I decided to break it. "Ashley. I'm sorry about yesterday. It's my fault we are in this situation. I was jealous and let it take control of me. Plus it doesn't help that I'm already insecure about you wanting a Man instead of a kid like me." I say looking down. "I don't deserve you. You deserve someone better." I feel her get closer to me and I feel her gently lift my head up so that my eyes meet her brown ones. The ones I fell in love with back in New Jersey. "I don't want someone else Dani. I don't want anyone else but you. If anything I'm the one who should be saying sorry. I should have made things clear to Andrew that I wasn't in the market. I shouldn't have done the French kiss I regret it. Sweetheart i am so sorry. And I'd do anything to make this up to you." She says she's about to open her mouth again to say something but I stopped her by kissing her. She kisses back with so much passion. I pulled back needing to breathe. "I love you." I say leaning my forehead against hers. She smiles "I love you more Sweetheart." She says making my heart beat rapidly. "So about that last sentence. You said anything?" I say smiling. She groans as I laugh. "Alright what do you want?" She asks "Belgium Waffles with Coffee?" I ask "Coming right up." She says kissing me before she left. "And none of that decafe shit!" I say as she chuckles. While I wait I decide to play my mom's new game. I was currently stuck on level 30 and while i used my last life that I had and failed it once again I groaned in frustration. "Everything okay in there babe?" Ashley asks chuckling "Yea everything's fine. Mom's game is addicting though." I say as she laughs understanding. I decided to text my mom.

I laughed at my mom and her ridiculous ways to get out of questions she didn't know how to answer. "Alright we've got Belgium Waffles and Coffee not the decafe shit." She says as she sets them on the coffee table. "Thanks babe." I say pecking her cheek as she sits down. "Am I forgiven now?" She asks as I take a bite out of one of the waffles. "Oh you were forgiven like 5 minutes ago." I say as she playfully punches me. "You Little shit!" She says "Babe if I didn't forgive I wouldn't have kissed you." I say laughing as I block her punches until she pins me on my back. I stare into her light brown eyes that I could stare at for days. She smiles and leans down to kiss me and I kiss her back. We pull back when we hear my stomach growling. We both laugh as she lets me get up and eat the remaining waffles. "Ugh my stomach hurts." I say as I lay in her lap. "Well you pretty much just ate three of those waffles." Ashley says playing with my hair. "Worth it." I say as she chuckles softly. She places a kiss on my forehead as she continues to play with my hair. I enjoyed this moment. The feeling of her fingers going through my hair. Hearing her softly hum to a melody that she comes up with in her head. I close my eyes to enjoy the moment until its rudely interrupted by her phone ringing. "Ughhhh!!!" I groan as she chuckles answering her phone. "Hello?" She says continuing to stroke my hair. "Oh hi Andrew." She says the name makes my blood boil. I guess she must've noticed because she started to draw patterns into my back knowing that calmed me down. "Listen Andrew I appreciate the offer but I have a girlfriend." She says making me smile. Take that asshole. "Uh huh. Oh okay. Yea no don't worry about see you then. Yea I'll be sure to let her know. Okay bye." She says I look up at her confused. She smiles "That was Andrew and he called to see if I was still available for the lunch that he asked." She says I clenched my jaw in anger but took deep breaths to calm myself. "That's when I told him that I was taken and get this he was just asking because his girlfriend is a fan of my music." She says as my eyes widen. "Well great now I just look like a possessive bitch." I say sitting up and looking at the ceiling. That's when Ashley got on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck. "A cute possessive bitch." She corrects smiling and kisses my lips. "Still a bitch." I say as she chuckles "Relax babe I mean we've all been there I mean I was jealous of Brooke at one time." She admits "Of Brooke? Babe it was one time!" I say laughing when she raises her eyebrows "I'm kidding although you do look kinda hot when you're mad." I say "Oh yeah?" She says inching closer "mhm" I hum as she closes the distance between us and kisses me harder this time. We would've gone further but then there was a knock at the door. "Ugh! What now?" I groan as Ashley laughs. "I didn't realize I was dating a horny teenage boy." She says jokingly as she gets off my lap to open the door. I look to see none other than my parents at the door. "Hey Mom,Dad what are you doing here?" I ask "We came to tell you some good news." Dad says as I raise an eyebrow "What's going on?" I ask as Mom hands me an envelope and I knew it was my first quarter grades. So I opened it and scanned the report card. "No Fucking way!!" I say as my smile widens. "Babe oh my god! You got straight As!!" Ashley says as I hug her. "Hey aren't you forgetting who tutored you in Algebra until 2 in the morning." Mom says as I roll my eyes and hug her and Dad. "Well I say we should go out and celebrate! How does Ice cream sound?" Dad asks "Sounds great! Babe you coming?" I ask Ashley "Of course how can I not go my baby just got straight As!" She says kissing my cheek "Even though I'm not straight." I say winking at her. "Alright enough with the puns let's go!" Mom says as we laugh. I took Ashley by the hand as we went out for Ice Cream. I couldn't believe I had gotten straight As. "So have you guys decided what you're gonna be for Halloween?" Mom asks. Halloween was not only Mom's favorite holiday it was mine as well. "I've got a few ideas. And from what I heard Ashley can't decide." I say "I just have a lot of great costumes that I can put together at the last minute." Ashley says "Same! I mean I want to be Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz and that way Batman could be toto but then I also want to wear this sexy maid costume." Mom says "Whoa Mom I'm trying to enjoy this Ice Cream please don't put images into my head that I don't want!" I say as She laughs. "Either way you're gonna see it because we are hosting a Halloween costume party and I expect you both to be there!" Mom says "As long as my friends can come." I say "Of course they can the more the merrier." Mom says we continued to talk about the party and I pitched some ideas for the decorations. Overall it was a great day. I got my girl back, i had gotten straight As,Everything was right in the world.
