Eleanor

You already know this one, too.

I grew up a Red Sox fan, and I still was a Red Sox fan when I met you. I don't know why it was such a shocking thing, I think I told you that I was from Boston because you commented on the fact that I have an "accent." I thought you were crazy for thinking I had an accent, but maybe it's just because I had been around them all my life.

I didn't tell you when we met because it kind of sucks to have someone tell you that they like a team that's not the one you play for, but I eventually told you. Although as we got closer, I was silently becoming a Cubs fan.

When I told my dad about you, he said, "At least he's not a Yankee."

But regardless of the spot that the Red Sox will hold in my heart, I love you and your team.

And thank you for converting me into your loveable losers.
