SUNDAY
...............

Sunday morning. I was feeling way way better than Saturday. I woke on the right side of the bed. Although I did have a scary dream. In the dream Sam and I were in a car accident

I stood up and wore my sleeping shoes. I yawned and stretched my body. I went to the bathroom and took a hour long bath just because it was a weekend.

Today I am meeting up with Jerome
He might get my mind off things.

I went to the dinning room and found Micaela sitting on a chair playing with her phone.

"Good morning little sister." I greeted and took a sit

"Mor...ning." She greeted apathetically as she was playing with her phone

I snatched her phone

"Hey, give me that." She whined

"I said good morning." I said

"It's not a good morning. I'm hungry. I've waiting for Dad to bring me food." She said

My Dad came in the sitting room with my mom. He was pushing my mom's wheelchair and placed her at the dinning room table.

He went to the kitchen and brought a tray with four plates. The plates had eggs, bacon and toasted bread. He gave everyone their plates, cups and utensils.

"I cooked breakfast for all of you. I hope you enjoy." He said

"Thanks Dad. I'm starving." Micaela said and ate her face off

"Take your time and chew Miccy or you will choke." My mom said with her rough voice

"Mama it's so nice to see you." I said

"Its so nice to be back home with all of you." She said "I'm in a wheelchair and my legs a swollen as you can see. It's nothing big. I'm probably going through menopause."

"Mom I remember when you lost weight just to fit in your leather jeans and now you can't wear those jeans." Micaela said and laughed. To be honest, I also laughed

"Micaela." My father called and cleared his throat "You can't be joking about something so serious."

"Serious? Mom just said it's nothing big. She started with the jokes. She said she was probably going through menopause." She said laughing so hard.

"Micaela! You are uncontrollable. You are way out of your league!" He shouted

"What did I do wrong? Everything I do is wrong. I hate this." She smashed her fist on the table and left with her plate

"Arg I hate this.  I'll go speak to her." He said and left

"This is how Dad is lately. He is moody  and angry and bitter." I said to my mom

"He isn't handling this whole thing well. He is scared." She said

"Scared of what?" I asked

"I've been taking care of you guys. Now that I'm sick I'm useless. He has to do everything around here. He is scared of the responsibilities." She said
