Thorin looked extremely hurt,  and just walked away.

We finally reached Erebor many days later.

Thorin was made king when Smaug was defeated.

I found my old cabin in the woods,  and stayed there, without telling anyone where I was.

A week later, someone knocked on the door. It was Thorin.

"How did you know I was here?" I asked.

"Where else would you be?"

"Point taken. Do you want to come in?"

"Please."

We went into the kitchen,  and again, I had flashbacks about the first time we met. I also remembered the first time my father came home from a war. There had been other times Thorin and I met.

*** FLASHBACK***

I was two years old and sitting in the living room.

"Mommy,  when is daddy coming home?" I asked for the fiftieth time.

"I don't know, sweetie, but remember, he's the general now. He's very important to King Thror." my mother said, rubbing my back.

Suddenly, there was a series of quick, very loud knocks.

"Flair, honey, go get the door for me please." she said.

"Okey-dokey mommy." I replied.

I rand to the hallway, opened the door, but didn't see anyone.

I stepped onto the porch confused.

Suddenly, someone a lot bigger than me picked me up and flipped me upside down.

I looked up and squealed.

"Daddy!" I shouted, hugging his arm, which was the only part of him I could reach, very tightly.

"Hey, shortstuff. I'm back just in time for my favorite girl's birthday!" he laughed.

"Oh yeah! It IS my birthday, isn't it?"

"You forgot?"

"I missed you too much to rezemember(intentional)."

"Well let's go inside so I can give you my present."

He carried me into the living room and set me on his knee.

He pulled out a long, brown package.

I hurriedly tore off the wrapping paper,  and found a wooden hox that had been nailed shut. I looked to my father.

"You know how to open it." was all he said.

I pulled my dagger out of its sheath, yes, I was two and had a dagger. I also knew how to use it. My father had given it to my for my first birthday. My mother hated it.

I used it as a crowbar and popped the top of the box off.

Inside was an arrow.

"I already have a bunch of arrows. You showed me how to make them, remember? OOPS!!!" I suddenly covered my mouth. My mother wasn't s'posed to know that.

"YOU WHAT?!?!" my mother exclaimed.

"I can explain!" he started.

"Flair, you go outside and play for awhile." she told me in a dangerous voice.

I went outside to the river, and sat there.

I didn't mean to get daddy in trouble.

Suddenly, a pack of orcs swarmed over me, attacking me.
