CH.50: New Years

"Olivia, wake up. It's nine." Fran said.

I groaned and turned to the other side.

"We have to go shopping for our new year's party."

I groaned again and sat up.

"I'm up."

"Good. Now get ready." Fran said with a smile.

I quickly did what I was told and met my new family in the small living room.

Dave grabbed the keys and we were off to the party store.

Fran, Bailey, and I went to go look for some shot glasses while Dave and Eli went to go find some plates and cups.

"So, Olivia. What do you think of Eli?" Fran asked.

"He seems nice. I haven't really gotten to know him."

"I see. Well you to should date." She says.

"Uh, I don't think that's a good idea."

"Come on, Olivia." Bailey chimed in.

"I don't want to talk about it right now." I said dismissing it.

Both of them shrugged and continued to shop.

HARRY POV.

I didn't sleep all night.

I decided to go downstairs amd talk to Gemma about my problems.

"Hey Gemma. Where's mum?"

"She went to go get breakfast."

"Good. I need to talk to you." I said sitting next to her.

"I have been thinking of Olivia. I can't stop thinking of her. I don't think can handle long distance relationship, but I need her. I love her."

"Come to a party with me. It's a new years party. You need to clear your head." Gemma said.

"I don't think..."

"Come on. It'll help."

"I guess." I said.

Getting out doesn't sound bad. I do need to clear my head. I'm sure Olivia has moved on, so I need to too. She probably slept nice and cozy, while I tossed and turned. I rather it be me than her. I hooe she did sleep well.

This is why I need to go out. I keep thinking of her.

We are not together, so I shouldn't be thinking of her.

I really need to go to this party.

"Come on Gemma!" I yelled.

"Just go! I'll have Rob pick me up!" Gemma yelled.

I rolled my eyes and went to my car.

The party was at some hall with aa bunch of college students. Gemma said that some of her friends that I know will be there so it won't be that bad.

She also said to try to fit in since I'll be the only one who is still in high school.

I walked in and the music was blasting in my ears.

A couple of girls were smiling at me and whispering to each other as I walked by them.

They were alright, but nothing compares to Olivia.

OLIVIA POV.

"You look beautiful." Eli complemented.

"Uh, thanks." I said.

"Come on, we are going to be late." Dave said to Fran.

"Ok, ok."

We all swished in the car and drove to the hall.

I came in and the Swan family wanted to introduce me to a bunch of their family.

"What happened to Nicole?" A woman asked.

"Sh, she hooked up with Eli." Fran whispered.

I could hear her clear as daylight. I was going to comment, but decided against it.

"Nice to meet you." the woman said.

"You too." I said.

Everyone was smiling and having a good time.

"One minute left!" A man said waving his beer.

Everyone gathered around the projector that's broadcasting the show.

"Ten...Nine....Eight....Seven.....Six....Five....Four.....Three.....Two.....One...HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Everyone cheered and happiness filled the air.

I looked next to me and see Eli. He grabbed me and slammed my lips against his.

I try to get him off of me, but he leads me outside and things went downhill from there.

HARRY POV.

"Three....Two....One...HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone shouted.

I hugged Gemma and she kissed my cheek.

I say happy new year to everyone, then a girl comes up to me.

She has been staring at me all night and keeps trying to have me dance with her. I wasn't comfortable so I kept rejecting her.

The girl grabs my hand and her body slams against mine. I try to get away, but she collides her lips with mine.

I widen my eyes and pry her off of me.

I head outside and get in my car.

Before I start the car, I see a face time call pop up.

It's Olivia.

I answer it quickly and I see her with her ear buds. She looks nervous and scared.

"Olivia?! What's wrong?" I said.

"I didn't know who to call. I don't know of I should tell you. I don't know if..."

"Calm down and tell me what happened." I said.

"Eli kissed me." She said choking.

Anger flew in me.

"That's not all." She says.

My heart stopped.

"After I got him off of me, he... He..." She looked at the camera one last time before she looked away. I heard her puking.

I don't see anything except for the dark sky.

"There you are." I hear someone say.

"No. Stop, I'm going to call the cops on you." I hear Olivia say.

"And I'll tell foster care that you raped me."

I knew who it was by that time.

"Olivia, run away. If he tries anything, scream. I'm on my way there."

I turned the car on and drove.

I don't know where I was driving to exactly, but I knew I need my girl back wrapped in my arms.
