Chapter 3: Hogwarts

~the next day~
I woke up happy, this was the day we would finally be freed from our horrible family, the day has finally come. I woke up jumping on my brothers, okay I know it's not nice of me but they're my brothers they love me. We changed and grab our trunk with our stuff and literally ran to the car. We piled in on the back seat when our uncle drove us to King Cross Station. He set us of and drove away as fast as he can, so we went inside and on our ticket it said Peron 9 3/4. Seriously is this some kind of joke, we were at Peron 9 and 10 but there was no 9 3/4. We went to a conductor and asked him "excuse me sir, but could you maybe tell us where Peron 9 3/4 is?" He laughed and then when he saw we were serious he got angry and told us to go away. So we walked away and then I heard a women say the word 'muggles' and we walked after her. She had red hear and freckles, just like her children. She had three boys who were older then me, one boy who looked like our age and a girl who looked younger than us. "Excuse me Madame, could you maybe tell us how....?" I didn't need to complete my sentence because she completed it for me "how you get on the platform. It's okay dears, it's your first time isn't it. It's Ron's first time too" she pointed to the boy who looked like our age. She said "Percy, you go first. So you can show these three how it works". The older boy named Percy nodded at his mother and began running into a wall, wait what the hell. He's going to crash, but he didn't. He just disappeared. Then the woman said "Fred it's your turn". Then the boy said "I'm not Fred, he is". He pointed to his identical twin brother who I thought was really cute. If I wasn't in the open I would have fangirled. "And you call yourself our mother". Then his mother said "oh I'm sorry George, it's your turn". Then he stood still to prepare for running into the wall, then he said "I was just joking, I'm Fred". Then he disappeared into the wall, not a second later his cute twin brother followed him. Then it was our turn, the women said "it's your turn dears, it will all be okay. If your scared then just ran". So I asked "which of you wants to go first", but I forgot my brothers are chickens so I said "alright alright girls, I will go first". They rolled their eyes and then I ran into the wall, I came out on the other side and I couldn't believe my eyes. It was wonderful, but I forgot to walk so after me Max came and we bumps into each other. "Ouch Max what the hell, did you miss me so much that you thought to just run into me" I said to him. He rolled his eyes, and the cute twin laughed. Then he helped me on my feet, he said "hey, my names George. What's your name?" He asked me while smiling, "hi, my name's Sophie. But everyone calls me Soph and with everyone I mean my two brothers." He laughed and helped me with my stuff, they were quite heavy. "Thank you, you know. For helping me up and helping me putting my stuff away". "Ah, it was no big deal". "Okay, but thanks anyway". He smiled again and then Max and Harry came. George helped them too, together with his twin Fred. Then they asked my brothers name, but it was a bit hard to understand because we said it at the exact same moment. "My names Sophie, Max, Harry", then I said "okay, mind if I introduce you". "Nah, that's okay", they both replied and we said that all at the same time. "Well, my name is Sophie. This is my older twin brother Max and this is my younger twin brother Harry". "So you guys are twins too, that's great". "Yeah, it is". "May we ask what your last name is?" "Oh yeah sure, our last name is......." Then I went silent, Max and Harry punched me in the arm and said "Soph, be nice". I rolled my eyes at them and said "our last name is Potter". Their eyes got really big and they just stared, I became a little bit worried about them going into shock. I waved my hand in front of their face and asked "hello is anybody home?" "What oh yeah sorry, but you're the boys and girl who lived". "Yes that's us, but if you can excuse us. We need to find a compartment before the train leaves, so bye. I will see you guys when we will arrive". I waved at them and they said "bye". I walked through the whole train with my brothers and we came to a compartment with only one boy, and it was the boy we saw earlier I think his name was Ron. "Hi, do you mind if we sit here?". "Hi, no I don't mind, I would like to have some company". "Okay, your name is Ron right?" "Yep, my name is Ron Weasley. Nice to meet you?" "Nice to meet you too, my name is Sophie Potter and this is Harry my younger twin brother and this is Max Potter my older twin brother". I gave him my hand to shake and he did, then he said "blimey, so your the ones who lived". "Yes, I think. I mean we're not dead, so yeah". He laughed a little at my joke and we talked the whole way to Hogwarts. He told me all about his 6 brothers and his sister. He's got 4 older brothers, Charlie. Who's in Romania studying dragons, there's Bill. Who's doing something for Gringots. Then there is Percy, he's still at school In his 5th year. He's a prefect but Ron mostly told me about how annoying he is, then there are Fred and George, the twins. They're still at school too, but they don't care about education. They love pranks, and that's good because I love them too. There's Ron, this is his first year and he doesn't know what he wants to do. Lastly there's his sister Ginny, she's a year younger then Ron so she's coming to Hogwarts next year. Then you've got his parents, the sweet lady we met on the train station is Molly and his dad's name is Arthur. He works at the ministry wit muggle objects who are bewitched. They're a really big family, I always liked big family's. Then he introduced us to his rat Scabbers, he did nothing. But Ron said he knew a spell to make him turn yellow, he got it from Fred and George. So he wanted to try and then a girl with bushy brown hair showed up together with a girl with long brown hair, they asked us if we had seen a toad. "No, I'm sorry. We haven't seen one", I told her politely. "Okay, then I need to go continue searching. Oh are you doing magic, let's see" the one with the bushy hair said. Ron did his spell, but it didn't do anything. Then she said "well, that was a bit sad. Are you sure that's a real spell?" "I don't know, Fred and George told me". "I practiced a few spells myself". Then she pointed to Harry's glasses and she said "oculus reparo", the glasses were as good as new again. "My name is Hermione Granger, and yours?" then the other girl said "Hi, my name's Cassidy Lemmon, and yours?" "My name is Sophie Potter, this are my brothers Harry Potter and Max Potter", while I pointed to them. "Oh blimey, you're the three who lived". "Yes we are", "wow". Then the one with bushy hair turned to Ron "and you are?" He was eating all the sweets we bought from the trolley, then he answered "my name is Ron Weasley". But he was speaking while eating, "terrific" she said sarcastically. "You know you got something on your nose, right there", she pointed the place on his nose. "You know we're almost arriving at Hogwarts, I think you four need to go changing". "Okay, do you maybe know where the girls bathroom is?" I asked her. "Yes, sure it's down the hallway to the right, I can walk with you if you want?" "Oh no, that's not necessary. I don't want to be any trouble, good luck with finding that toad". "Thanks, bye we will see you at the sorting". "Yeah I will, bye". Then she left, and I picked up my robes and began on my way to the bathroom. I was almost there when I bumped into someone, I didn't know who. But then he chuckled and I just knew it was George. I was laying on top of him, "uhm hi, nice too see you again. But if you wanted to speak to me you could just ask, you didn't need to attack me". He smiled, and then I said "oh no that's not it, I'm so sorry. I was on my way to the girls bathroom to go changing". "Relax, I was just messing with you, but I think everyone is quite suspicious why you lay on top of me" he said while laughing. I blushed and quickly got of him, "sorry, my brothers often say that I'm the clumsy one of the family". "Ah it's okay, they call me the cutest" then he winked. And I just felt the heat rise to my cheeks, then Fred came and said "oh hell no, I'm the cutest". And then they had a little war about who's the cutest, then they asked me both at the same time "alright, who's cuter me or him?", "well, I think Ron". I only said it as a joke, they looked at me weirdly and then I bursted out laughing. "hahaha, you haha seriously hahaha thought hahaha that I would fall hahahah for Ron hahaha. You hahaha guys are hahaha crazy", then they joined me and then we were all rolling on the floor from laughing. When I was done laughing I asked them "But if you don't mind, then I can go to the girls bathroom now to change okay". "Well, we seriously would mind. So I recommend that you need to stay here with us ". "Well that's a shame, I mean I would love to stay here and talk but I need to get on my robes". "Okay, bye" the said to me "bye, see you guys later". Then I changed in my robes, and under my robes I had a black jeans and a black t-shirt with the emblem of imagine dragons and my low all stars sneakers. Then I walked out of the bathroom and I got picked up by two strong arms. "Let me go, I need to go to my brothers. Without me they probably murder each other", "well that's a shame, because we thought they were really nice. We're going to miss them". "Fred, George where are we going?" "To our compartment, just to chat a little". "Oh really, you couldn't just knock on the door as every normal human being and say 'he Sophie do you want to talk with us in our compartment'?" I said while scrunching up my eyebrow. "Well no, we knew you wouldn't come with us if we asked it nicely, then you would say 'no thanks but I already have a compartment with my brothers and your little brother', so we thought that you would come with us this way". George said. "Please", they both said together while pouting, damn it George is too cute. "Alright alright, fine I will go to your compartment for a little bit, but my brothers need to know. Otherwise they would get a heart attack, okay?" "Yeah sure, I will go by and tell them. I'll be back in s minute". And Fred was gone, so it was now me and George. "Okay, let's go to the compartment" I said. "Yes", when we walked we told each other story's of our favourite pranks. When we were at the compartment of the twins I saw another boy sitting there, he had dreadlocks and smiled at me. He held out his hand for me to shake, so I did and I told him my name "hi, my name is Sophie Potter, but everyone calls me Soph anyways. It's nice too meet you". "Hi, my name is Lee Jordan, it's nice to meet you too. I've already heard a lot of you from the twins". I smiled and said "oh really, I hope they told you good things". "Oh yes of course, they were real gentleman, anyways do you want to see my new pet". "Yeah sure, what is it?" He didn't answer but instead he picked up the box who stood next to his feet. He said "I want you to meet my pet, say hi". Inside was a big spider, and I'm not overreacting he was really big. But it's not that I'm scared of spiders I just don't like them, so I said "hi mister spider, my name is Sophie". The boys looked at me shocked "what, I love animals". "Yes but this is a spider, I thought you would run away screaming", "really, why would I do that? It's just a spider, it's not a shark or crocodile". Yes, I'm afraid of sharks and crocodiles. But not for spiders or other animals, I love animals. Wait I'm rambling again aren't I, damn it I need to stop it. It's really frustrating everyone out, mostly my brothers because we live in the same room. Okay I'm going to stop now". They looked at me with wide eyes, "okay, well I think it's fun that you ramble. It's a lot better then saying nothing" George said. "Yeah it is, so have you guys planned any other pranks?" They both had the same smirk and said at the same time "oh yes, yes we have". I smiled just like Lee, if the twins got a prank it must be good. Then the whistle went off and it was time to get out of our compartment and go to the sorting. Fred, George and Lee walked with me through the hallways of the train and then George said "you need to watch out for the sorting", "why?" I asked him, "because you need to fight against a troll". I became suspicious and looked at them for a long time and then I said "nah, your just pranking me". "Oh no we wish, Lee didn't you fight a troll when you were a first year?" Then I turned my attention to Lee, "yes of course, I almost didn't make it. That would be very terrible because then you wouldn't have met me" he said while winking at me. I rolled my eyes and said "nice try Lee, but your not my type". Then I saw my brothers, Hermione, Cassidy and Ron, so I said "alright bye guys, I need to go to Harry and Max before they kill me, bye". "Bye Soph", they all said. I ran to my brothers and they didn't see me so I jumped on their backs. "Ahhhhhhh, what the hell?" Then I said "yeah yeah, love you too big bro and little bro", when they hear my voice they calmed down and smirked at each other. Oh no, then they let me go and I fell on the ground. I decided to have a little bit of fun so I fell on the ground and I pretended like I had pain at my ankle, "ouch, it hurts so badly". "Omg Soph were so sorry, can you move it", "I don't know, why did you have to let me fall, why?" Fed, George and Lee were watching and they wanted to come over to make sure I wasn't hurt, but I winked at them so they knew I was faking it. Then they laughed a bit and then I drew my attention back to my brothers who were trying to make sure I was alright. Then I looked at them and I couldn't hold it in anymore and I just let it out. I laughed my ass of. "What the hell are you laughing at?" "I'm laughing at your faces you idiots. I'm not hurt, I just wanted to take you guys back for dumping me on the ground". "Damn it Soph, that was so not funny". "Yes it was", I laughed at them innocently and they chuckled. "Are you going to help me up from the ground or do I need to get up myself?" I asked them with my eyebrows raised. "Nah, your not hurt so you can get up yourself". "Wow thanks bros, I love you so much" I told him sarcastically. "Yeah sis love you too", so Cassidy hold out her hand for me and helped me up. "Thank you Cassidy, I'm glad that there's still someone who loves me" I said to my brothers, who were rolling their eyes at me. "It's okay, that's what friends are for", she said to me while smiling. I smiled back at her and I just knew that we would be great friends. Then I saw Hagrid, I ran to him and hugged him. He smiled and ruffled my hair "hey Hagrid, how are ya doing?" "I'm doing great, thanks Sophie your so sweet". Then he broke the hug and boomed "first years this way, gather around", "hey Harry, hey Max nice to see you two", they replied with "hey Hagrid". Then Hagrid ushered us to the boats who were bewitched, so they would row out of theirselves. I sat with Harry, Max, Ron, Hermione, Cassidy and a boy named Seamus and the boy named Neville who lost his toad. "You know, Fred and George just told me we need to fight a troll. That's not true is it?" I asked Ron. "Well, I don't know. They could have been right, I've got no clue honestly". That's just great, me fighting a troll. I can better just jump from this boat and be eaten by the giant squid. We came in the hallway and it was beautiful, it was made from bricks obviously but the statues were bewitched Knights. They were so awesome, I don't know if there were female Knights, if there were they would be called Knightins. I know it's not a real word but I like it, so I'm gonna use it. Then there was a witch who said that her name was professor McGonagall. Then she was gone, I think she was asking something to the people behind the door. Then the ferret boy who I met at Diagon Alley came to Harry, Max and me and said "hello, my name is Draco Malfoy. And you three must be Sophie, Max and Harry Potter am I correct?" "Yes that's us, why?" "And you there, red hair, freckles, hand me down robes. You must be a Weasley" Ron was mad and I saw the top of his ears turning red out of shame or anger I think. Then he went on and said "you wouldn't want to hang around blood traitors Potters. I could help you with finding friends of our own sort". Oh hell no, he didn't. "Listen here ferret boy, don't ever insult Ron or Fred or George or the other Weasley's or other people just based on some stupid theory about blood or money. Who cares they're not rich or that some people are fat or too thin, or that they're a werewolf, a vampire, or that they're gay, bi, straight, or that they've got another skin colour, or that they're not very bright, or that they're a know it all. You need to treat people just because of who they are and not because of what they are or what they have. They're my friends, and if you have a problem with that then you got me to deal with. So, if I ever catch you insult my friends, my family, other people or me then I will break all your bones in your body and I will promise you that I will kick you as hard as I can in your private part. Do you understand that?" He was as pale as a ghost, then he nodded his head as a yes. Boom, victory. Then Max said "Soph, I think you've got a public", I turned around and I hadn't realized they were ready to begin. I looked down at the floor. Great, well at least everyone knows who I am by now. It was deadly silent in the great hall as they call it, then I finally looked up and found the eyes of the twins. They were smiling and then they began clapping and screaming things like "woohoo, go Soph. Teach him a lesson, we love you", then Lee joined in. At last the whole hall erupted in cheers, well everyone but the far table in the corner who were in green and silver. Oh wait I think that's the Slytherin table, even Percy was smiling and the twins told me that he never smiles. And the teachers were smiling too, even McGonagall. The twins told me that they were trying to let McGonagall laugh since three years ago when they first came to this school, so I think it's one hell of an achievement. Then everyone went quiet, and professor McGonagall was naming students to take place on the wooden stool. Then they must wear a hat and the hat told them where they belong, I hope I would be in Gryffindor. But I don't care which house I got, except Slytherin that's the last house I want. Then it was Hermione's turn, she sat on the stool and I could see that she was very nervous. She looked my way and I put up both of my thumps and mouthed "it's okay, you can do this" she smiled, and then I saw her relax. The hat paused a little and then it said "Gryffindor", I think I was the one to clap the loudest but who cares. Then professor McGonagall said "Lemmon, Cassidy" then I payed attention. She was one of the friends I make at the train. She sat on the stool and the hat was thinking, "Hmm, no not Hufflepuff, Nope Ravenclaw isn't it either. Maybe Slytherin, oh no that's not going to work. Then it will be "Gryffindor". The people at the Gryffindor table clapped the hardest and I was the one who clapped the hardest. Then a lot of people were sorted, and then it was our turn. "Potter, Harry", oh god I'm so nervous. Harry was nervous too and I sent him a smile to calm him, it worked a little. Then I heard the hat say "not Slytherin, alright then it better be GRYFFINDOR" and then Gryffindor table and me clapped the loudest and the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw table clapped too. I heard Fred and George scream "we've got one of the Potter triplets", I laughed because those two are one of the greatest friends I've ever made. Then it was Max's turn "Potter, Max", he went to sit down and the hat said "hmm, your very bright. But your also very kind and very brave to stand up for your family. No Slytherin aye, then I think it will be GRYFFINDOR". All of the three houses were clapping, everyone except Slytherin of course. The Gryffindor table was the loudest and the twins screams "we got two of the Potter triplets". Then it was my turn "Sophie Potter", Oh my god. My brothers are both sorted into Gryffindor, I want to be with them damn okay Soph just calm down. It will be alright, Ron saw I was nervous and put a calming hand on my arm and smiled at me. I smiled back, then I turned around to the chair and sighed. Okay, here goes nothing. I sat down and professor McGonagall put the hat on my head, I waited nervously till the hat would speak. "Another Potter hè, Hmmm. Your just like your brother, very bright, thrust worthy and loyal, you're very kind also. But I can also see a prankster side in you, and you can be protective of your friends and family. But I think everyone has already seen that, although you have much courage." I was thinking 'please no Slytherin, please not Slytherin'. "Not Slytherin, your just like your brothers. It's difficult, but I think it will be GRYFFINDOR". Seriously Gryffindor, I'm happy no that's an understatement I'm ecstatic. This is amazing, the whole Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw table were clapping. And the twins screamed "yes, we got the most amazing one of the Potter triplets. We got the Potter triplets". I sat next to Max and in front of the twins and next to them sat Cassidy. "Hey guys", "hey Soph, we knew you would be a Gryffindor". "Thanks, and where is that troll I needed to fight", I looked them in the eye and they said "they scratched it for this year, they think it's to much of a risk. I mean it's a troll, it's not a dragon it's not that dangerous". "Oh, that's too bad, I would love to fight him". Their mouths hang open and I shut them and said "well boys, we don't want to catch flies now will we". "You two can relax its just a joke, omg they got pizza. I love this school". They laughed at me because I'm too childish, but I know it and I can't help it. Then I started eating pizza and the whole world was just gone, it was just me and my pizza. But I shook away from my trance from the twins. "Yeah, what is it?" "Well, we were wondering if you would help us with a prank later." "What the hell are you guys serious?" But when they tried to speak I said "wait your Fred and George don't answer that, but yeah of course I want too". They smiled and looked at each other like they were speaking inside their heads. "Okay, see you soon in the common room". "Okay, see you there, bye". "Bye Soph", and then they were gone. "So, your friends with Fred and George now?" Ron asked me. "Yes, yes I am. Why is that a bad thing?" "Well, it's just that they get in trouble a lot and I don't want you to get in trouble". "Oh that's sweet Ron, but I will be in trouble anyway. So you don't have to worry about me". Ron looked at me like he didn't believe me, but Max and Harry know that it's true. At my previous schools I was expelled twice and I got hundreds of detentions, but I didn't care. As I said, I like to annoy my aunt, uncle and nephew. But especially my uncle, because he gets furious so easily. "Hey Cassidy, I'm so glad we're in the same house" "yes me too, one moment I thought I would be in Slytherin". "Well I wouldn't care, I would still hang with you. It's the same as what I said to Malfoy, I don't care which house you're in. If you're nice to me then I'm nice to you". "And I've got a feeling that we're going to be great friends", she smiled at me and I smiled back. Before we can go to bed professor Dumbledore needed to give a speech. He told us a lot but I was only listening for the half of his story, I was too busy thinking about George. But then he said something about the corridor on the third floor who's forbidden for anyone if they don't want to die a very painful dead. Okay thanks Dumbledore, that's very pleasant to hear. Then he told us that the Forbidden Forest is forbidden for ALL students, and when he said that he looked to the twins and they looked innocently back. I was trying so hard not to laugh, it was really hard. Then he said that we could go to bed and that the prefect needed to take us to our common room. We walked up a whole lot of stairs, now I know how everybody here looks so skinny. You need to be in a good shape with all these stairs, damn if I knew this then I would have trained before I came. Hahahaha, nah I still wouldn't have done it then. We went to our common room, and to my luck we got the one at the highest place in the school (note the sarcasm). Great, well I at least I will be in shape before the end of the year. We needed to wait before a speaking portrait. Seriously, even the portraits can speak this is just amazing. Our prefect is Percy, great I mean he looks like he's really nice. He says a password to come in the common room. I think it was Pig snout or something, oh well Max knowing he already wrote the password everywhere. We walked inside and it immediately felt like home. The common room was mostly red, but that's because the colours of our house are red and gold. There were amazingly soft red couches and chairs, and there was a great fire place. It was almost just like my old home with my parents, its amazing. For the rest there were chairs and tables to do your homework. And at the left side there were stairs who probably go to the dorm rooms, it's a bit exciting. I've always slept with Harry and Max in the same room and then for the rest of my life I slept with them in a broom closet under the stairs. Yes, I sleep with Hermione and Cassidy and a girl named Lavender. This is going to be so much fun, when the girls went to unpack I went downstairs to the common room where I would meet Fred and George. This prank is going to be epic.
