Chapter 14: I told you so

~the next day~
I woke up today by somebody shaking me, and I'm not so happy because we've got exams today I don't know why, it's summer for Merlin's sake. It was Hermione that was for sure, "Hey Sophie wake up, the exams start in an hour." "No, I don't wanna and you can't make me. I will hurt you, go away" "Every single day, can't you just wake up like a normal person". "No, I can't because I'm not normal. And now go away" she walked to Cassidy's bed and said "Cassidy come on, you need to wake up. The exams start in an hour, if you wake up you can help me wake up Sophie" then I heard her wake up. She said "I got the perfect idea", and I didn't hear them come back for a long time. I went back to sleep and then I heard her coming back after a few minutes. They were in the common room and I smelled pizza, yeah I got a great nose for pizza. They didn't even need to walk in our dorm I was dressed in a minute and ran downstairs while screaming "PIZZA!", everybody was giving me weird looks but I didn't care. Then they ran to the great hall holding the pizza and I ran behind them "Mione, Lemon give me my pizza!" I told her, then Mione put the plate down at the seat in between Fred and George. I sat down and begin to eat, I love pizza. "Soph, how come your up. Your never up this early, "I know, Mione and Lemon used pizza as bate so I would wake up and then they ran to the great hall." "Damn Mione, Lemon, that was bloody brilliant. We're going to use that one for a long time." They laughed and when we were done eating we went to our classes to make our exams, Mione is stressing about it since Christmas. It's really irritating to have Mione constantly asking you when you're going to study, but I'm going to make the exams from today and it isn't that hard. After our exams I was walking through the corridor with Harry, Max, Hermione, Cassidy and Ron and we saw professor Snape. He said to us "Why are you 5 here on this beautiful day, don't you need to be outside." It was just the way he said it, it was so creepy. Then Cassidy and I said at the same time "that was so creepy", "See this is why we're best friends" we said together at the same time again. Then I got an idea, "Wait, Hagrid said he got the dragon in a pub. Omg, we need to go to Hagrid NOW." I ran to Hagrid's hut and the rest followed me, I bonked on his door. "Hagrid, open up now. It's really important", he opened the door and when he saw how serious I was he knew that something wasn't right. "Hagrid, the man in the pub did you see who he was. You know, the man from Norbert?". "No, he had a hood over his head. I didn't see anything", "Did you tell him anything about Fluffy?". "Of course, he wanted to know if I got other animals so he could determine if I would be a great parent". "Hagrid, was he interested in Fluffy", "Yes, very much. We talked a lot about him like when you want him to sleep you just need to play some music. Oh no, I shouldn't have said that. I should not have said that". We knew enough, we ran to the third floor corridor while Hagrid yelled at us "Wait, were are you six going?". We ran to professor McGonagall's classroom, when we were there she looked shocked to see us "Potters, Granger, Weasley, Lemon what are you doing here. It's beautiful weather you six need to be outside". "Professor, we need to speak to professor Dumbledore. It's very important", I told her while panting. "He's not here at the moment", "Wait what?". "It's about the philosopher stone professor, someone's trying to steal it" Harry told her. "I don't know how you know about it, because it's very secret. But I can assure you nobody's stealing it, and now go outside to enjoy the summer". Well that was very useful, so we went back to our common room but we promised each other that we would go tonight. Finally it was night, Hermione, Cassidy and I walked downstairs to the boys dorm. We saw them and we went downstairs to the common room, I saw Trevor. "Hey Trevor, don't you need to be with Neville. He's going to be pretty sad if he lost you" "No Soph, now is not the time to be nice. We need to go, now". Then we saw the chair turn around and Neville stood up, "No, you're not going away again. You lost a lot of house points already, I-I-I will fight you". He said the last part while holing up his fists, then Hermione said "I'm so sorry Neville" and then she said "Petrificus Totalus", then he fell on the ground as a statue. I was feeling so guilty, I walked past him and said "I'm so so so so so so sorry Neville". I picked up a blanket and laid it on top of him while giving him a kiss on the head, "I mean it Neville, I'm really sorry. Good night", then I followed the rest out of the portrait to the third floor corridor. When we were there we busted through the door, the dog was asleep because of the harp playing in the corner. "Oh no, we're to late. Snape's already been through". "Uhm, I think you mean Quirrell" I told Harry. He rolled his eyes at me and then Hermione and Ron picked up his paw so it was of the trapdoor. Then Cassidy said "Wait, there's something wrong", it felt strange and then I knew it. "The harp, it stopped playing", Fluffy woke up and began growling at us. Then I said "Jump, JUMP. QUICK!" they all jumped and I went last. Then we fell in some soft but firm vines, I think. The vines were trying to suffocate us by wrapping themselves around us, So I tried to remember something about this plant, "Stop moving! I know what this is - it's Devil's Snare!" I told them. "Oh, I'm so glad we know what it's called, that's a great help" Ron told me. "Shut up, I'm trying to remember how to kill it!". "Well, hurry up, I can't breathe!" Harry told me. Hermione just fell through it, Harry, Ron, Cassidy, Max and me yelled "Hermione, are you alright". "I'm fine, you just need to relax", yeah right. It's so easy to relax when you're almost choking to death by some killer vines, but I just thought about George and then I just fell through. Cassidy fell next and after her Max and Harry relaxed too eventually. But Ron just couldn't, "He's not going to relax is he?" I asked them "Nope". "Devil's Snare, Devil's Snare...what did professor Sprout say? It likes the dark and damp" Hermione said. "So light a fire!" Max said, "Yes, of course, but there's no wood!" Hermione answered. Seriously Mione, "HAVE YOU GONE MAD? ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?" I told her. "Oh, right!" Hermione said sheepishly. Then Ron fell through it finally, we walked further in the dark and came at a door. Behind it I could hear little wings fly, I opened the door and inside there were a lot of flying keys. We ran to the door and I tried to unlock it by saying the Alohomora spell, but it didn't budge. "Wait, I got it. I think we need to pick one of those flying keys to open the door, we need to pick the one who looks the worst." "And how are we going to do that?" Cassidy asked, I saw the brooms and said to them "By flying of course". Harry and I both got a broom and we mounted them, when we went flying we we're chased by the keys. Eventually Harry caught the key and flew down, I was still flying so they came after me. He opened the door and the rest ran out and I flew outside, then I came in a room with a giant chess game. Oh shit, how the hell are we going to do this? Oh wait, Ron's good in wizard's chess. We saw the door and walked to it, when we were in front of the white pieces they took their swords and crossed them so we couldn't walk further. We slowly walked backwards, then they returned to their normal position. "Now what do we do?" Hermione asked, "It's obvious isn't it we need to play our way across the room" Max said while smiling brightly. "Alright, Harry you take up the Bishops square. Hermione you will be the queen side castle, Max you take up the Bishop square on the left. Cassidy you take the king side castle, and as for me I will be a knight, you too Sophie". We took our positions and waited for Ron to instruct us, because we know nothing about this. "What happens now?" Cassidy asked Ron, we looked at him and he said "Well, white moves first. And then........ we play" he said very dramatically. Me and Cassidy were trying to stifle our laugh, it's just he's so serious that it's funny. White set a piece, I think it was a pawn. "Ron, you don't suppose this is going to be like real wizard chess do you?" I asked him. he looked at a pawn and said "You there, D5". Then the other pawn picked up his swords and destroyed our pawn, "Yes Hermione, I think this is gonna be exactly like Wizard chess" Ron said and we looked at him slight scared. Then a lot of pawns were slaughtered, and the next move he said "Horse to E4". I think, I couldn't hear him right because of all the noise of dying pawns. "Pawn to C3", that one got slaughtered too. Damn, this is way more violent than soccer. There were a lot of moves we did, and then he killed our queen. Ron was thinking, I could just see the radars in his head spinning. We looked around the board and then I got it, "Wait a minute" Harry, Max and I said together. "You understand why Sophie, Max and Harry, once I make MY move the queen will take me. Then you're free to check the king Harry", "NO, RON NO" Harry and I screamed together. "What is it" Hermione asked, "He's going to sacrifice himself" Cassidy said. "NO YOU CAN'T, THERE MUST BE ANOTHER WAY" Hermione said. Then Ron turned around and said "Do you want to stop Snape from getting that stone or not?", he turned around to Harry Max and me. "Harry, Max, Sophie, it's you that needs to go on. I know it, not me, not Hermione, not Cassidy, you three". We nodded our heads, then Ron took a long breath and said scared as hell "Knight to H3". The horse moved and he said "Check", we waited anxiously till the queen would kill the knight. It turned around to face Ron and walked forward, when it was in front of him he stuck his sword inside the horse and it fell apart. Ron fell off and was unconscious "RON" we screamed at him, we wanted to ran to him. But then Mione said "Wait, don't move we're still playing". We stood still and then Harry walked forwards to the king and said "Check Mate", then the king let his sword fall on the floor. We went to Ron but Hermione and Cassidy were already there and they said "it's okay, we will care for Ron. But it's you three who needs to go through". "But Hermione, we need you you're the best witch ever". "I'm only book smart, but you three got courage and that's what's most important. Go on, you need to catch the stone, we know you three can do this. Be careful, okay?" "Yes Mione, Cassidy, we will. I love you two" I said while hugging them, "We love you too" they said. "But I'm serious, I want all the details and I swear that if you got killed I will bring you back and kill you myself. Got it?" Cassidy said, I laughed and said "Sure, but when I'm dead I will haunt you forever" she laughed too and then it was time for Harry, Max and me to go and save the Wizard World. We went through a door and came in a room like the dungeons, only here's light. And in the middle of the room I can see the mirror, wait now I get it. It says 'Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi' so that means backwards 'I show not your face but your hearts desire' it's so obvious. And there we saw not professor Snape as Harry and Max expected but Quirrell, Harry and Max were confused and said "you" real confused, but I wasn't and I said "Yes, I knew it. I freaking knew it, I told you so. I freaking told you it was Quirrell, he was just way to creepy to be a good teacher". "Alright Sophie, now's not the time to say 'I told you so'. You can do it later when we're safe again okay?" Max said. "Yes, I will remember that". Then Quirrell got mad and said "QUIET", "Damn, I think someone's on their period", the boys grinned but Quirrell only got more mad. Then Max said "No it can't be, Snape. He was the..." then he got interrupted by Quirrell. "Yes, Snape does seem the type doesn't he? Because next to him who would suspect p-p-p-p-poor s-s-stuttering professor Quirrell" he said in a weird voice. "So that's your real voice, it sound uglier than your turban", he glared at me. Then Harry spoke "But that day, during the quiditch match. Snape tried to kill me" while walked down the stairs just like me and Max. Then Quirrell smiled and said "No dear boy, I was trying to kill you. And trust me, if Snape's cloak hadn't got fire than I wouldn't have broken my eye contact I would have succeeded. Even with Snape muttering his little counter curse", "You wanted to kill my baby brother? You're so dead you horrible bastard" when I tried to go over there and kill him Max hold me and said "Not now" I listened to him and stopped struggling, but I will kill him for hurting my little brother. Then Harry spoke again "Snape was trying to save me?" he said it as if it was the weirdest thing on earth. "I knew you three were a danger to me right from the off, especially after Halloween". "Oh yeah, were you scared of our skills, I would be if I was you". "Be quiet you little brat", oh hell no. I raised my fist ready to punch him, when Max grabbed my wrist so I couldn't. "Then you let the troll in?" Max asked him, "Very good Potter, yes. Snape unfortunately wasn't fooled". "Yes and neither was I you slimy git", he glared at me again and I smirked at him. "When everyone was running to the dungeon he ran of to the third floor to head me off. He of course never trusted me again". "Yes, and good right he has, you bastard", he went on as if I never interrupted him and said "he barley left me alone". Then Harry felt the scar on his head and me and Max felt the one on our hand, it hurts pretty bad. "He doesn't understand, I'm never alone. Never, Now what does this mirror do? I see what I desire, I see myself holding the stone. But how do I get it?" then a creepy voice said "us the boys and girl", he turned to us and said "COME HERE POTTERS, NOW". We slowly walked to him till we were in front of the mirror, Quirrell said "Tell me, What do you three see?" I looked in the mirror and I saw us three standing there and the 'me' in the mirror looked at me triumphantly and showed me the stone. Our eyes widen, because Harry and Max saw it too and then I felt it inside my pocket. Then Quirrell got angry and said "What is it, what do you three see?" then Harry said "I-I'm shaking hands with Dumbledore, I've won the house cup", and then Max said "I see myself marrying with Cassidy", and I said "I see myself setting my future children of to Hogwarts". Then the creepy voice said "They're lying" Quirrell demanded us "TELL THE TRUTH WHAT DO YOU THREE SEE?" then the creepy voice said "Let me sssspeak to them", and Quirrell said "Master, you are not strong enough". The creepy voice said "I've got enough strength for thissss". Quirrell untied his turban, and then we saw a face in the mirror. It said "Harry, Sophie and Max Potter, we meet again", "Holy shit dude, you got a face on the back of your head. What for creep are you?" I told Quirrell. Then we all said together "Voldemort", "Yessss, you ssssee what I've become. Ssssee what I must do to survive, live of an other I'm a parasite. Unicorn blood can sustain me, But it can not give me the body of my own." "Seriously, and you choose Quirrell as your 'body' you could have seven billion of other people and you chose him?" Quirrell glared at me, while Voldemort laughed and said "You are so much like your father, he was brave too and an annoying prat". "Don't you ever talk about my father again, you evil little butt face". Then he went on and said "but there is something that can, something that conveniently enough lies in your pocket" then we tried to ran up the stairs away from the creeps. Then Voldemort said "Stop them", at which Quirrell clipped his fingers and all he torches went on and there was a wall of fire in front of us. We stepped back and turned around, "Well, there goes our plan, way to ruin things mister Creepy" I said to Quirrell. Voldemort said to us "don't be a fool, why suffer a horrific death when you can join me and live", "Well first off, because you're a horrible creepy crazy terrible bloody git, and second because my parents wouldn't be proud of me if I would join you. You killed them, so I will join you when hell freezes over you bloody git", then Max, Harry and me said "NEVER" and he became mad. He laughed I think, it's really hard to know if a head is laughing or not. "Bravery, your parents had it too. Tell me Potters, would you three like to see your mother and father again?" is that bloody git serious, they're dead. And dead is dead, you cant bring back dead people. But Harry and Max hesitated, we saw our parents in the mirror and the head went on "Together we can bring them back". "Seriously butthead, our parents are DEAD. DEAD, you can't bring people back from the dead you stupid git". "All I ask is something in return" then Harry felt in his pocket, cause when the head was talking I switched the stone to Harry. Now I start to think that it was a bad idea, if he joins the head I'm going to yell at him so bad. He picked it out of his pocket, oh great there goes the wizard world. He looked at it and the butthead said "that's it Harry, There is no good and evil" "Oh hell yeah there is, and YOU butthead are evil". "There is only a path with those who're too weak to see it" he said and I saw Harry hesitating, oh please dear Merlin let him not give the stone to butthead. "Together we'll do extraordinary things, just give me the stone". "Harry don't do it, he's lying". Then to my relieve he said "YOU LIAR", then butt head got mad and said to Quirrell "KILL THEM". He flew toward us, really the creep can fly? And he tried to choke me and Harry. He threw Max against the wall and he was unconscious, "MAX" me and Harry screamed. Harry tried to get the stone which flew out of his hands while Quirrell/Voldemort attacked us. And we were almost out of air, we touched his arm and it melted away. He was screaming from the pain, I would be sorry for him if he wasn't trying to murder us. He stood up and we could breath again, we sat up and we looked at each other and then at him. We looked at our hands, how the hell is this possible. It's cool, but how? Then Quirrell said "What is this magic?" and Voldemort said to him "Get the stone". Harry looked at the stone next to him and Quirrell came, but me and Harry put our hands on his face. It melted away and he was screaming, we looked at each other shocked and then he fell in pieces like he was made from ceramic's. He tried to walk to us but he changed into dust, "I told you I would kill you, you bloody git". We looked at his -well clothes because he didn't have a body anymore, then we looked back at our hands again. I picked up the stone and gave it to Harry, "Good job, baby bro. You just saved the Wizard World". We looked behind us and there was a ghost like thing in front of us, Voldemort. He screamed and went through us, we screamed and then everything went black.
