XIV. THIS IS HOW YOU LEAVE ME

IN THE BEGINNING:
i don't feel a thing.
learned to shield my heart
and numb my pain,
shut down the voices and ease my brain.

IT HAS STARTED:
i find myself getting lost in the million oceans that are your eyes,
my walls are crumbling down, and the stars of your constellations have found their home inside my veins.
my heart is now the night sky.

AT LAST:
i'm infatuated with the cold, sharp wind
and how it mimics your hands around my throat.
i don't mind not being able to breathe,
as long as i can feel you touching me.

NOW THE STARS ARE DEAD

AS I LIE ON MY DEATHBED
