Mia's pov
I woke up to Noodle shaking me.
"Baby there's a bunch a sick people in the bunker.You should get up."

"Okay" I said getting up and following him

"His heart's beating like a drum. But he doesn't have a fever or a cough or anything like a normal sick person." Violet said

"That is not a normal sick person. He looks dead." I said looking at lyle.

"Kid needs a hospital." Coach said
"Did he say anything to you?" Violet asked Grover

"He said something, didn't he? What did he say?" Violet said looking at grocers face.

"Well, yeah, he spoke. I just couldn't understand him." Grover said walking away, Violet followed to talk to him.

"You said he was trying to tell you something?" Barrett asked

"Yeah." Grover replied

"Tell me what it was like outside. Hmm? Come on. What did you see?" Barrett asked snapping his fingers in front of lyles face.

"Leave him alone." Coach said

"He's our only link to what's going on outside." Barrett said

"Guys! He's not our only link.And there's more like her upstairs." Natalie said bringing in a sick looking addy

"They smell like they've been eating trash." Zoey said once we got all the sick people to the bunker.

"Maybe they have been." Noodle said

"Gross" I mumbled 

"What would bring them back here?" I asked

"Might be the only place left." Violet thought out loud.

"You really think that?" Mary asked

"The explosion was huge." Violet said

"Who are you, and why are you trying to scare people?" Zoey asked, you'd think my best friend would know my sister but I guess me and Violet don't really hang out at school and I always go to Zoey'shouse cause Violet doesn't like me having guests over.

"I'm someone who'd rather understand reality than play pretend." Violet answered

"Oh-ho." Zoey said going after Violet before LeShaen pulled her back

"Come here and relax. Relax, she's not worth it. Come here." LeShaen said to Zoey

"You really think nobody else is left?" Mary asked

"No, look. There's no way anybody could know that." Grover said comforting Mary.

"I'm going up stairs I don't want to be down here anymore" I said slipping out of Noodles arms and going upstairs.

"Why aren't you helping in the shelter?" I asked noticing diesel at the door.

"Well, I thought somebody should act as guard." Diesel replied

"So you're guarding everybody." I said

"Yeah, somebody should be out there just in case more come." Diesel said

"Just being helpful." Natalie sassed coming up behind me.

"

Yeah.Why? You don't believe me?" He asked Natalie

"I didn't say that." Natalie said

"Why aren't you helping in the shelter? Your little friend's down there." Diesel said
