Chapter 7: The Gym Battle

Note: This chapter will be short and I'm starting from the update.

N'S POV

"I'll battle!" said Hilda.

"Alright pretty lady! Step right up!" he said as he went on the podium.

"Go Buizel!" shouted Hilda.

"Go Krokorok!" said Clay.

"Use water gun!"

"Use rock blast!"

They battled hard.

Buizel is fighting not for the fun, but for Hilda.

It's saying things I have never heard Pokémon say!!!

'Ok Hilda I'm ready to continue!!' it said.

"Use hydro pump!"

"Use bulldoze!!!"

Krokorok fainted.

"It's unable to battle! Buizel wins!" said the ref.

"You battled hard." said Clay.

"Go Palpitoad!" he said.

Palpi toad easily beat Buizel.

'No Hilda I can still battle...' it said as it fainted.

"Buizel is unable to battle! Palpitoad wins!"

She withdrew him and sent in her next Pokémon.

"Go Vibrava!" she said.

"Use ice beam!" said Clay.

"Use solar beam!" shouted Hilda.

THIS ONE TOO?

It's saying the same things and more just like Buizel!

'Don't worry Hilda I can do it! Just have faith!' it said.

"Alright your doing great Vibrava! Use Dragon Breath!" she said.

Down fell Palpitoad like a rock.

"Palpitoad is unable to battle! Vibrava wins!"

Ok go excadrill!" shouted Clay.

"Use focus blast Excadrill!"

"Counter with Hyper Beam!"

It still is battling hard! She will not give up even in harsh times.

"Sorry little lady but your winning streak is over. Use Focus Blast with Metal Claw!"

"Combine Solar Beam with Hyper Beam!!!" she shouted.

There was a huge cloud of smoke and it lasted for a while.

"Did she win?" asked Rosa

"It's hard to Tell..." said Hugh

"I have faith in her." I said.

They looked at me for a short second and giggled.

"I guess he does like her." I heard them say but pretended I didn't.

Ok so maybe I have some affection towards her. But I need to wait for the right moment.

The smoke started clearing up and in the smoke was..

"EXCADRILL IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! VIBRAVA JS THE WINNER! SO THE MATCH GOES TO HILDA!" said the Ref.

" I won!" she shouted.

She ran over to Vibrava and hugged her

"Congrats little lady. Here's your quake badge." said Clay.

"Aww yeah! I got the quake badge!" she shouted as she fist pumped.

"Congrats Hilda" we all said.

"I couldn't have done it without you N!" she said as she hugged me.

Hugh and Rosa giggled at each other and then walked towards Clay.

"Don't worry I'll just heal me up and then we can Battle!" he said.

I looked at Hilda and blushed.

Maybe she is the one after all...
