Nightmares

Batman woke up to leaning against the couch, but not to the soft bundle of fluff under his cape, it was gone. Batmans dad instincts kicking in he immediately opened his eyes and shot up not realizing he just slammed into to superman.

"Oh, your finally awake I-" Superman began before being cut off by Bats

"Where is Robin" His voice stern but concerning, without a word Batman could follow Superman's eye movement to know that he was in his room. And with that Batman walked off towards his room

Knock Knock

"Robin are you there?" Batman spoke with a softer tone in case his youngin was sleeping

"no" came a faint voice

"Robin please let me in" He softly knocked on the metal door again

"no"

Sighing Batman went over to the keypad to his room and unlocked the door. It was a pitch black room so it was hard to figure out where Robin was, but he could here the hisses of pain coming from the smaller person in the corner of the room. Batman slowly walked over not wanting to be intimidating and kneeled down to his partner

"Robin" he softly spoke

"w-hat" Robins voice cracked under pressure of hiding that he was crying

"Whats wrong" he asked Robin as he ran his hand over his forehead wiping the stray hairs stuck to his face away

Robin didn't respond but instead got up and walked towards the bathroom pulling Batman along by his gloved hand

"We went to a restaurant" Robin started to speak "and i got really bad anxiety" Robin sat on the counter in his bathroom and pulled Batman close to him still holding his hand "and i , accidently, ran into the bathroom and, accidently, re-opened small parts of my cuts" robin finished putting his head on Batmans chest on the Bat symbol and closed his eyes tightening his grip on his fathers hand

Batman laid his chin on his sons head while he slowly moved his hand down to his sons wrist, stoping when he heard a hiss of pain.

"How bad does it hurt?" he soothingly asked

"Emotionally or physically" he snorted as he said that

"Haha very funny" Batman sarcastically said as be retracted from his partner and rolled up Robins sleeve

Robin didn't speak the whole time they were cleaning and wrapping the cuts
