I sat on a bench and just looked at all the pretty flowers that were around. There was too much death in my life so just sitting here was nice sometimes. Then three people walked past and blocked my view. I looked up and saw Legolas, a dwarf and a human. Legolas looked at me as he walked past and I looked towards the ground. I looked up slightly when he had past me. I looked up and saw Strider looking back at me smiling. I made an annoyed face and turned away from him heading towards my room.

I walked back out when it was night, I didn't feel like sleeping. I walked out into the court yard and just looked up to the sky. I wish that I could just know that my parents are still there. I desperately wanted to see them again. One would think 100 years was enough but it didn't even come close to being enough time with them. I let out a soft howl to them. I wanted to hear something back but as usual I heard nothing. A tear started to form in my eyes. "You still miss them don't you?" A voice asked from behind me. I wiped the tear from my eye and turned around to see Legolas.
"Always have," I said, "and won't stop."
"They aren't truely gone you know that?"
"I know. Sometimes I just want to see them again not have them just be there." I looked back up to the sky and smiled. "It's beautiful isn't it," I said trying to distract myself from thinking about my parents and sister.
"The night sky is always beautiful. Might I ask what you are doing out here so late," he asked.
"No you may not because why are you out here so late."
"Oh no reason I just saw a beautiful spirit walk out here and thought I might come say hello."
"Oh sorry she went that way," I pointed to the gate and into the trees. He laughed and hugged me. It was rare to get a hug from him but when I hadn't seen him in a few years why not. The Wolf elves and the woodland elves were always close and Legolas was my bestfriend. "Good to see you again," I said letting go.
"Fancy us meeting on yet another adventure," he said.
"An extremely dangerous one in which we are 90% likely to die."
"That's one way to think of it."
"Or we will survive and it would be the greatest fight in history where good really did triumph over evil."
"Good once did," he said referring to the War of the Wolves.
"I would hardly call me being the last one alive a win," I said.
"What ever suits you." He shrugged and grabbed onto my arm pulling me to the overhang which looked over the lands. I grabbed a hold of his hand and he didn't move. I took a step closer still nothing. Then I jumped on him and knocked him to the ground in a hug. He lets out a surprised yell. I laugh. "Oh like you weren't expecting that to happen," I laugh getting off him. I wrap my arms around him and bury my face in his neck. He hugs me back placing a small kiss on my forehead. Did I forget to say boyfriend too.

Elrond addresses the council. "Strangers from distant lands friends of old. You have been summoned here to answer the threat of Mordor. Middle-earth stands upon the brink of destruction. None can escape it. You will unite...or you will fall. Each race is bound to this fate...this one doom.... Bring forth the ring, Frodo," Elrond says. Frodo steps forward and moves towards a stone Plinth. He places the ring on the plinth and returns to his seat.
"So it is true!" Boromir says shocked.
"Sauron's Ring! The ring of power!" Legolas exclaims.
"The doom of man!" Gimli says grim. I look at the shining object and can already feel it's dark power, I don't like it.
"It is a gift...a gift to the foes of Mordor! Why not use this Ring? Long has my father, the Steward of Gondor, held the forces of Mordor at bay...by the blood of our people are your lands kept safe. Give Gondor the weapon of the enemy...let us use it against him!
"You cannot wield it," I say in a tone regarding Boromir as stupid.
"None of us can," Strider continues because he knows that I will say something snarky and rude, "the one ring answers to Sauron alone it has no other master." Boromir turns and looks at Strider, coldly.
"And what would a ranger know of this matter?" He says coldly. Strider gives me a look like don't. Strider says nothing and Boromir turns away dismissively. Legolas stands.
"This is no mere Ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. You owe him your allegiance." I flick my hand towards Aragorn like, never mind and he just gives me a sharp look. Boromir turns sharply.
"Aragorn? This is Isildur's heir?" He says in utter shock.
"And heir to the throne of Gondor," Legolas says continuing longer than he should.
"(Elvish) Sit down, Legolas," Aragorn says.
"Gondor needs no king," Boromir says sharply.
"Just because you want to be," I say quietly and Aragorn steps on my toes with his heel. I just turn my head to him slowly.
"Aragorn is right...we cannot use it," Gandalf says.
"You have only one choice..the ring must be destroyed," Elrond adds. Gimli suddenly stands, excited.
"Then...what are we waiting for?" Gimli suddenly rushes forward! He swings his axe down on the ring. The axe shatters with a deafening crack! Gimli falls backwards, staring in disbelief at the ring its unharmed. Frodo winces and he slumps in his chair clutching his forehead Gandalf looks at him with concern.
"The ring cannot be destroyed, Gimli, son of Gloin, by any craft that we here possess. The ring was made in the fires of Mount Doom...only there can it be unmade. It must be taken deep into Mordor, and cast back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. One of you must do this." There is silence and everyone looks towards the ground and I just simply don't care I'm not going to do it anyway I'm not going to be strong enough to carry it all that way and I know so. Boromir addresses the council in a quiet voice.
"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust...the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly," he says.
"Have you heard nothing Lord Elrond has said? The ring must be destroyed," Legolas retorts.
"And I suppose you think you're the one to do it?" Gimli says.
"And if we fail, what then? What happens when Sauron takes back what is his?" Boromir says continuing. Gimli leaps to his feet
"I will be dead before I see the Ring in the hands of an Elf!" An argument arises and I decide to not join in. Legolas looks back at me pleadingly. I just turn my head away, but if course he keeps arguing. "Never trust an Elf!" Gimli shouts.
"Excuse me!" I start, jumping up. "What about you small little deceiving things."
"At least we would help a friend out!"
"You do no know me do not test my power." Gimli snorts and I growl at him. Legolas grabs a hold of my arm.
"Do you not understand? While we bicker among ourselves, Sauron's power grows! No one will escape it. You will all be destroyed, your homes burnt and your families put to the sword!" Gandalf says.
"I will take it...I will take it...I will take the Ring to Mordor," Frodo says. There is a sudden silence and Frodo looks a little scared as we all just stare at him. "Though...I do not know the way," he says quietly. Gandalf rises to his feet.
"I will help you bear this burden, Frodo Baggins, as long as it is yours to bear."
"If by my life or death, I can protect you, I will," Aragorn knees before Frodo, "you have my sword. Aragorn steps forward.
"And you have my bow," Legolas say.
"And my axe," Gimli says.
"You have my short swords," I kneel before Frodo, "and special ability." I wink at him and he smiles. Boromir looks at us all then walks towards Frodo.
"You carry the fate of us all, little one." Boromir looks towards Elrond and Gandalf. "If this is indeed the will of the Council, then Gondor will see it done." Frodo stares in wonder at us the greatest fighters in all of Middle earth.
"Here!" A familiar voice comes from a nearby bush. Sam suddenly pops up from behind a bush. "Mr. Frodo's not gong anywhere without me," he says.
"No, Indeed...it is hardly possible to separate you even when he is summoned to a secret council and you are not," Elrond says. Merry and Pippin jump up from behind another bush! "Oi! We're coming too! You'll have to send us home tied up in a sack to stop us," Merry says.
"Anyway you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission...quest...thing," Pippin says.
"Well, that rules you out, Pip," Merry says. Pippin looks like he doesn't quiet get it.
"Ten companions ... so be it. You shall be the "Fellowship of the ring."
"Great. Where are we going?" Pippin says. I laugh at him quietly.

In the afternoon before we have to leave the next morning I was jumping around Legolas as a wolf. I ran out into the open area and Legolas was chasing me. "Wolf!!" Gimli shouts. He pulls out a spare ax and Boromir grabs his sword. Caught by surprise I forget to just turn back and instead walk slowly backwards. "Good this one is scared make for easy killing," Gimli says. I shake my head and just turn to and elf.
"Please don't," I say. They both step back in shock.
"You," Boromir says narrowing his eyes.
"Me what?" I ask. Legolas comes running up behind me laughing but stops when he sees Gimli and Boromir.
"No, you can't be the last one," Boromir says.
"Why can't I be," I cross my arms.
"Why you're a female that's why." I take a step forward so I am closer to him.
"You listen here I lost all family, all friends and my whole life. Do not just assume that I am lying or I was a coward and hid because I am a female." I turned back into a wolf and put my two front paws on his shoulders. I was taller than him by a long way and I was pushing him back. "I did not just give this scar to myself now did I," I say my voice deep and menacing as a wolf. The scar ran from a little before my eye and all the way down to under my chin a little bit. I started to dig my claws into his shoulders and growled lowly. "Alea that's enough," I could hear Aragorn coming.
"ERIS ENOUGH," he said louder using my wolf name which as I wolf I recognised more. I turned back to an elf and walked away pushing past Aragorn and Legolas. Boromir just looked utterly shocked.
"Alea wait up," I heard Legolas calling after me but I just kept waking.
