[Chaeyeong POV]

I look around but she's no where in sight. Friday nights are the nights we all gather in the living room and stay up watching dramas. Where could she be? My thoughts are interrupted by a curious bunnies voice.

"Chae, are you alright?" I look at Nayeon's  big round eyes. Her mouth slightly parted showing her two front teeth.

"Oh, uh yeah. I'm just going to get something to drink." I get up and make my way to the kitchen.

"Ah! Chae, could you bring me a bottle of water too?" I look back at her and nod my head.

[Mina POV]

Hmm. What could i make to eat? Eggs. Onion. Carrots. Leftover rice....... AH! Fried Rice! All I need is soy sauce. Soy sauce... I could've sworn it was here somewhere.

"Looking for this?" That voice. I slowly turn to see Chaeyeong standing at the opposite end of the kitchen. In her hand, there is a clear bottle with a red cap filled with a dark liquid. She walks towards me with her hand held out to me.

"Thank you." I turn to the ingredients displayed before me.

"I didn't know Mina eonnie had such a large appetite." I smile as she giggles revealing that cute dimple of hers. "Would you like some help?"I pick up the onion and carrots and hand it to her.

"Do you want to help cut these?" She nods and takes it from me, her soft hands rub against mine, leaving behind tingles. Silently, we begin working away.

"Hey eonnie. Can I ask you something?" As I place the rice in a pan, I turn to look at her. A focused expression on her face.

"Yeah. What is it?" There is a short pause before she responds.

"That plate of food you gave me earlier. It was actually yours wasn't it?" I look back at the pan.

"Ah. Yeah." I can see her stop cutting the vegetables. Looking at her, her face is unreadable. "You don't have to be sad! I'm going to eat now. I had that rice cake earlier to-!" Before I knew it, she snatched the spatula out of my hand and pushed me to the side.

"Eonnie. You sit down, I'll make the food for you." Speechless, I turn around and take a seat at the kitchen table. So sweet. I place my hand under my chin and lean against the table, unable to help myself from admiring Chae as she worked. Her small body moving swiftly from one end to another. In the midst of my admiration, she turned around and smiled.

[Chaeyeong POV]

"Open wide eonnie. Ahhh." I watch as she chews and swallows. "How is it?" With her gummy smile she replies,

"So good! I didn't know our Chae could cook!" With that, she scoops out a spoonful, and holds it out for me. "Here. You try it too." I smile and open my mouth. Flavors explode in my mouth.

"Wow. I didn't even know I could cook this good." We both laugh before she digs into the meal. I watch as she eats, constantly putting more and more fried rice into her bowl. I wanted her to be as full as possible. To make up for eating her food earlier. To thank her for letting me eat, when yet she was hungry herself. "Mina eonnie, eat well okay?" She smiles and nods.

[Mina POV]

"Mina eonnie." I look up at Chaeyeong, her eyes don't meet mine but gaze a bit lower. "You have rice on your cheek." I feel my face begin to burn up as she leans in closer. "Here, I'll get it." She lifts her hand and gently brushes it against my face. "Here. See?" She smiles. Her face is so close to mine. My mind goes blank. We just sit there and stare at one another. Next thing I knew, her face was getting closer. and closer. and closer. Or was it me moving forward? I watched as she closed her eyes. I did the same. I could feel her breath on my lips. Closer. and.

"What are you two doing?" I snapped back into my chair as Chae did the same. At the kitchen entrance is Nayeon. Did she see us? My heart was racing, I didn't know whether it was because of something good or something bad. She walked to the fridge and grabbed  a water bottle. "I only came in here because Chae never came back with the drink I had asked for, but now I seemed to have found something else." I gulped. Looking at Chae, I could tell she was nervous too. I watched as Nayeon inched her way to the kitchen table. With an upset expression, she crossed her arms. "You guys made fried rice and didn't share with anyone else!" I took a deep breath of relief as Chae started to laugh hysterically.

"Mianhae Nayeon eonnie! We were going to tell you guys, but it was too good, and I guess..." She looked at me with that dimple of hers. "I guess we got a little distracted." My face was burning up again.
