Secret Love

What Is This?

(The members of Twice are in their dressing room, getting ready to perform on M Countdown. As they're called out by the stage manager, they file into a group line and start heading out. Momo calls out to Mina and tries to grab onto her arm, but Mina unknowingly pulls away to grab onto Chaeyeong.)

Momo: (Furrows eyebrows) Theres something going on between those two. I know it. They've been nonstop clingy to one another since the day we got back from Hongdae. Whats that all about? (Watches in frustration as the two exchange loving glances between one another) Theres definitely something going on. (In a second attempt, she wraps her arms around Chae and Mina's shoulders, placing herself in between them.) Mina! Chae! If I didn't know any better I would think you guys were a couple. I feel so lonely walking alone. TAT (Looks at the suddenly shy and quiet Mina)

Chaeyeong: (Awkwardly) AHAHA momo eonnie! (Leans in towards Momo and says quieter) I think you and I would look like a great couple, dont you think? (Smiles and winks, leaving a silent blushing Momo in return) AHAHA

(After their performance ends, Twice returns to the dressing room)

Jihyo: Was anyone else blinded by how bright those stage lights were?

Jungyeon: (Vigorously nods in agreement) Yeah! I was trying so hard not to show myself struggling to keep my eyes open, but I think you'll be able to see it once it airs.

Dahyun: AHAHAHAH You'll probably look as if your eyes are twitching! (XDDDDDD)

Jungyeon: (TTATT) My poor image.

Tzuyu: Dahyun. You're one to talk. You'll probably show up on T.V. looking like deer in headlights. Like. Always.

Dahyun: (Puckers lips out as she speaks) Yah! Not everyone can look as perfect as you all the time!

Tzuyu: (Sarcastically flips hair) I know! (Laughs along with the rest of the members)

Nayeon: Speaking of perfection, did anyone else notice Kim Taehyung staring at our black swan?

Sana: (Jumps up ecstatically) I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED! (Turns towards Mina) He was staring at you the whole time we were standing in the hallway..

Rest of the Members (Except Chae of course): OOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Mina: (Slightly embarrased) Me. What? No!

(At that exact moment, as if on cue the boys of Bangtan Sonyeondan enter their room and stand in a line facing the girls.)

Namjoon: Hana. Deul. Set.

All: (Bow) Annyeonghaseyo. We are Bangtan Sonyeondan!

Twice: (All stand up and bow their heads, greeting the unexpected visitors)

Namjoon: Ah. We were just going around, giving a copy of our album to everyone. (Hands album to Jihyo) Please give it a listen, and tell us what you think on it. :)

Jihyo: (Looks down at album while slighty nodding head) Of course.

Taehyung: (Takes a step towards Mina, with a separate album in his hand. He bows in front of her with both arms stretched out in front of him.) Please accept this.

Mina: (Smiles at the gesture and bows as she gratefully accepts the gift) Thank you.

Taehyung: (Shows that wide square smile of his before stepping back into the arms of his overly excited hyungs)

Namjoon: Thank you for sparing your time. (Bows towards the girls, along with the rest of the members, before they exit out the room)

Sana: MINA EONNIES GOT AN ADMIRER!

The rest of the girls gather around Mina squealing and asking her to open the album to see whats on the inside. She can't help but feel her cheeks flush. Its the first time she's ever recieved a present from another, besides her parents of course. She can't stop herself from smiling until she sees Chaeyeong sitting in the corner on her phone. Her face seems fine, but her eyes. Her eyes show sadness. Did I do something wrong?

(When the members get back to their dorms, Chae immediately heads to her room)

Momo: Ah you're going to bed already Ch--(face drops)--ae?

Tzuyu: What's the matter with Chae?

Dahyun: Maybe shes not feeling well?

Sana: Aw, Poor baby. I'll go check on her.

Mina: (Clears throat) No, thats alright. I think I know whats bothering her, just give me a few minutes.

Momo: Of course.

(Mina walks to Chae's room, only to find her sitting on her bed staring at her phone. She knocks on the opened door.)

Mina: Can I come in?

Chae: (Glances at Mina before looking back at her phone) .............

Mina: (Walks over and sits down beside her, placing her hand on Chaes. Chae pulls away) Did I do something wrong?

Chae: ............

Mina: If you don't talk to me, how am I supposed to know what made you upset?

Chae: ............

Mina: Is it because of the album Kim Taehyung gave to me?

Chae: .............

Mina: Are you jealous?

Chae: .............

Mina: Please. Talk to me.

Chae: (Puts down phone and looks straight towards the opened door) What is this? This whole thing between me and you? You want to know what bothered me? The way you looked when he approached you. The way you smiled. The way your face turned pink. You looked that exact same way after we kissed. I bet your heart was racing too, wasn't it? (Turns to look at Mina) Wasn't it?!

Mina: I didn't feel that way!

Chae: If he could make you look like that just by saying three words, what does that make me?

Mina: ........

Chae: (Looks down at her own hands) I shouldn't have kissed you like that. I don't even know how my own heart feels. When I saw you with Kim Taehyung, it felt as if I couldn't breathe, but all I could think was, 'Wow. They would actually make a good couple."

--Silence--

Mina: (Shaky voice) So what do you want me to do now? Rip up the album? Destroy it in front of him?

Chae: .......

Chae: Forget about that night. Lets just forget about it. (Lies back on her bed and curls up into a ball, facing the wall)

Mina: (Gets up to leave)

Mina: The only reason why I was happy was because that was the first time anyones ever given me a gift. (Tears begin to form in her eyes) The way I felt then is nothing compared to how you make me feel. All it takes for my heart to race is to think about you. But if you don't even know how to feel, what does that make me? (Glances back at Chaes curled up body before exiting the room with tears falling down her cheeks)

As Mina walks out of the room. Momo comes out from the shadows.

Momo: I knew it.

A/N: Hello! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! So I was going through the comments today, and I cannot say how much I fangirled over the fact that some of you called me authornim! I find that title so cute! But anyways please leave comments about your thoughts because I love reading each and every single one of them and, I would really appreciate the feedback, just to make sure if I'm keeping this story interesting. Even though I'm the writer, I'm still on the edge trying to figure out whats going to happen next XD
