Ch.1

This chapter will only be Zach's POV

~Zach's POV~

*at school*

Ugh English is sooo boring. And we have a sub so it makes it worse. But I have English with my best friends so that's the plus side to it. Everyone says it's wrong to have a girl best friend but she understands me better than everyone else.

"Katherine Jones" asked the sub

"Here. May I be called Katy?" Asked Katy

"Sure thing young lady" said the sub

Katy always hated her first name. That's why everyone calls her Katy. Her first name is actually really pretty but she never liked it for some reason.

"Zachary Nelson" asked the sub

"Here. Could I be called Zach?" I asked

"Sure thing young man" said the sub

I don't have a problem with my first name I just like being called Zach.

Katy & I have been in the same class every year since kindergarten. So every time we had a sub it was the same routine. "Can I be called Katy?" And "Can I be called Zach?" Now Katy & I are in our Sophomore year of highschool and still have every class together.

I'm an all star football player and Katy is an all star volleyball player. When we were little we decided we'd do sports I chose football and she chose volleyball. Every year we would play, we would always have the same number. We decided on 1. So ever since we were little 1 has been our lucky number.

*Bell*

Thank god it's break time.

"That sub was alot nicer than I excepted" Katy said

"Yeah" I said

"What's wrong ?" Asked Katy

"Nothing's wrong. Why do you think something is wrong" I asked

"I don't know. You've just been acting different" she said

"Well nothing is up" I said

"Okay. Wait ! Is it a girl ?" She asked

"No it's not. If it was I would've told you" I said

"Hmmm" she said

"Katy! It's not" I said

"Haha okay" she said

"Can you come over later ?" I asked

"Sure" she said

If Katy only knew. It was a girl on my mind. It was her. But there is no way I could tell her. It would ruin our friendship ! An besides she probably doesn't feel the same way.
