Ch.4

-----Zach's POV-----

Clearly Katy was not use to seeing guys shirtless and in boxers. And sure enough didn't know how to handle seeing me shirtless and in boxers.

To get her mind off of it I found baby pictures of us and she said she wanted to look at them.

"Awww you were adorable. What happened ?" Katy asked laughing

"Puberty happened. And I got sexier" I said

"Oh gross" Katy said

"Ha" I said

"Awww you had such chubby cheeks you where so cute" I said

"Well thank you" Katy said smiling

Changing the subject I started talking about sports.

"So when's your next school volleyball game ?" I asked

"Tomorrow" Katy said

"Oh really ! I need your schedule so I could go to your games" I said

"Ill give you a copy" she said

"I'm going to go to your game" I said smiling

"What. To watch girls in spandex. You perv" she said smirking

"No you idiot. To watch my best friend kick ass" I said

"When's your next football game ?" She asked

"Friday" I said

"Perfect. I'm going to go. Can I have a copy of your schedule ?" She asked

"Sure. And your only going to go to check out the other football players cause you obviously have a thing for football players" I said

"Thanks. And okay I do big deal ? And that's not why I'm going. I'm going to watch MY best friend kiss some football player ass" she said

"The duo is back in action" I said

"Yup. #1's" she said

"Yurp" I said

"Lets watch a movie" Katy said

"What movie?" I asked

"Well since it's your favorite. Something scary" she said

"Are you sure you can handle it?" I asked

"If you're here than yes" she said

"Lets watch conjuring 2" I said

"Uhhh" she said stuttering

"You'll be fine I'm here" I said

"Oookay"she said still stuttering

Katy could NOT handle scary movies. She was more into romance. To make Katy less afraid I put my arm around her. Woohoo point for Zach. Gosh she was perfect in every way. I just wish I knew if she liked me back.

-----Katy's POV-----

Zach picked the scariest movie he had. That prick. But what can I say he's my best friend. I could NOT handle scary movies what so ever. And obviously I was super scared. I guess Zach noticed because he put his arm around me. It probably didn't mean anything and was just the friend thing. Besides he would never think of me as more than a friend.

-----Zach's POV-----

Half way through the movie Katy fell asleep. Aw she was so cute asleep. It was to late to pull out the extra mattress and I didn't want to wake her so I just let her sleep in my bed with me. After I got both of us in the sheet I set my alarm for school. Then, I put my arm around her not wanting to let her go. And to comfort her so if she did wake up she wasn't afraid. Soon I started to drift off than I fell asleep with Katy in my arms.

-----Katy's POV-----

I woke up in the middle of the night. At first I didn't know where I was but than I realized I was at Zach's house in his room. It didn't feel like I was on the extra mattress but than I realized I was in Zach's bed. And his arm was around me. Did he realize his arm was Around me ? Or is it something he just did in his sleep ? That was to much to think about at 1:30 am. I finally got up out of Zach's bed to use the bathroom. When I got back I sat on his bed not getting under the blankets for a couple minutes. Zach woke up realizing I was awake.

"Hey. What are you doing up ? Come back to bed" he said with his morning voice smiling

"Don't worry I am. I just went to use the bathroom" I said

I got into the blankets and wrapped myself in them. After I was all situated Zach shortly put his arm around me again.

"Zach" I whispered

"Hmm" he said

"Your arm is around me" I said

"I know. Is that okay ?" He asked tired

"Yeah. Just wanted to make sure you knew" I said

"I know. Lets go back to sleep" he said

"Ok" I said

Is this what it would feel like. If Zach & I were dating. His arms around me, comforting me. I could get use to this. If only I could call him mine.

Zach started mumbling in his sleep. He looked so cute when he was asleep.

Zach started mumbling my name in his sleep.

"Katy" Zach mumbled

"Yes?" I said

"Katy" he mumbled again

"I'm right here" I said

"I love you" he mumbled
