12. Goodbyes

Bri's P.O.V

Today is probably my last day at East High, it's so sad thinking that. I want to tell Ryan but I'm still angry at him for asking Kelsi to prom. I really want to know why he would do that, I don't even care if Sharpay told him too. He's his own person!

"So, you're going with her?" Taylor asked me as we sat down at our yearbook stations.

I nodded not saying anything as I continued looking at the students I had laid out in alphabetical order.

"I'm sorry. It must be hard to leave everyone and everything behind... especially Ry-" she started by I cut her off immediately.

"Don't say Ryan! Because I don't give a crap about him! He asked another girl to prom while he was dating me!" I snapped at her, I looked around to see everyone staring at us.. at me. "Listen, I'm sorry Tay. I'm just hurt and slightly angry."

"It's okay, I understand. But Bri, don't hold it in or you'll blow up again." She told me with a concerned look.

I nodded and sent her a thankful smile and went on with the yearbook work.

I was now at home packing, we're leaving tomorrow and I said all the goodbyes I needed too. I didn't tell Ryan, Kelsi or Sharpay goodbye though.

"Honey, are you okay?" My mom asked me leaning against the door frame.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I told her lying with everything in me.

"Honey, if this is about moving you'll meet other people. And Ryan wasn't your first boyfriend and he won't be your last." She told me. She walked in gave me a hug then left.

"Gee thanks." I mumbled to myself.

I can't believe we're actually leaving, she promised we'd be here until we graduate. But I understand, this is a once in a life time opportunity for Gabi. Plus, maybe she's right. Maybe I will find another guy and friends that'll make me happy again and not betray me.

Even though I'm gonna miss everyone from East High. I can't believe I'm saying this... but I'll probably even miss Ms. Darbus. And that's saying something.

I wonder if anyone will tell Ryan I'm leaving?
