Jasper's POV

When I fallowed them I came to a stop in front of a building.

I walked in and heard the beginning of a song I have heard before but always shut it off the first second I don't know why I kept going but something was pulling me towards the door inside where everyone was in.

Two days past eighteen
He was waiting for the bus in his army greens
Sat down in a booth in a cafe there
Gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair
He's a little shy so she gives him a smile
And he said would you mind sittin' down  fer a while

I remember that day I remember it clear I was so caught up in watching Bella that I didn't notice anything or anyone just her and her alone also remembering that day I couldn't believe it.

She stopped and her breath caught with tears in her eyes while looking at me it seemed like forever yet so short.
Then she started singing with tears.

Bella's POV

"This is a song that means a lot to the person singing it. Please welcome Isabella Salvatore."

"Heyy ya'll this song you may not know was written by a girl who had experience in these two songs she wrote them heart broken though the original was changed once her great great great I don't know how many greats to be exact grandmother sold it and now Dixie Chicks sing it. They made it where he comes back but in reality he really didn't. This song means a lot to me and I hope every soldier comes home no matter what! So this is for you, Everyone who has family, friends, also loved ones."
Klaus came out and started playing the guitar and to sing back up along with Rebekah

Two days past eighteen
He was waiting for the bus in his army greens
Sat down in a booth in a cafe there
Gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair
He's a little shy so she gives him a smile
And he said would you mind sittin' down for a while
And talkin to me, I'm feelin a little low
She said I'm off in an hour and I know where we can go

So they went down and they sat on the pier
He said I bet you got a boyfriend but I don't care
I got no one to send a letter to
Would you mind if I sent one back here to you

I cried
Never gonna hold the hand of another guy
Too young for him they told her
Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier
Our love will never end
Waitin' for the soldier to come back again
Never more to be alone when the letter said
A soldier's coming home

So the letters came from an army camp
In California then Vietnam
And he told her of his heart
It might be love and all of the things he was so scared of
He said when it's gettin kinda rough over here
I think of that day sittin' down at the pier
And I close my eyes and see your pretty smile
Don't worry but I won't be able to write for awhile

I cried
Never gonna hold the hand of another guy
Too young for him they told her
Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier
Our love will never end
Waitin' for the soldier to come back again
Never more to be alone when the letter said
A soldier's coming home

One Friday night at a football game
The Lord's prayer said and the Anthem sang
A man said folks would you bow your heads
For a list of local Vietnam dead
Crying all alone under the stands
Was a piccolo player in the marching band
And one name red and nobody really cared
But a pretty little girl with a bow in her hair

I cried
Never gonna hold the hand of another guy

I cut off there because the one person I thought I'd never see again was standing right there off to the right, near the doors. My breath caught. Tears welling up in my eyes.
Rebekah took over and Klaus played and sang back up still

Too young for him they told her
Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier
Our love will never end
Waitin' for the soldier to come back again
Never more to be alone when the letter says
A soldier's coming
I cried
Never gonna hold the hand of another guy
Too young for him they told her

I cut back in and sang again. With tears in my eyes.
Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier
Our love will never end
Waitin' for the soldier to come back again
Never more to be alone when the letter says
A soldier's comin home.
