"I really like you too" Jacob said

My head snapped up and I looked at him, I could tell Jacob was telling the truth.

Damn this boy it's just so precious, he was still crying so I wrapped his tears away with my thumb and he gave me small and forced smile

"I'm sorry" I whispered

He just gave a stiff nod and I frowned, "jacob what's wrong?" I asked

he looked down and shook his head, "j what's wrong?" I asked again

"We wouldn't be friends if you didn't accept the bet"

I frowned a realized he was right, if I didn't do the bet he would still get beaten up and still be quite like he was before

I lifted his head up and saw some more tears running down his face, I wasn't sure what to say so I just pulled him into a hug, "Jacob I'm sorry, but I'm glad I did say yes to the bet because now I have you and your one of the greatest person I met"

"Thank you" he mumbled into my chest, when he pulled away I once again wiped the tears off his face

I kissed his forehead and he gave a real and genuine smile, "your cute when you smile" I said kissing his nose, forehead, and cheek to make him smile again

"You make me smile" he said quietly

"You make me smile" I repeated to him

When Jacob decided to head home he gave me a kiss on the cheek and a quick hug and then he was out the door and walking back home

Time skip to Monday morning

It was Monday which meant school, I groaned and turned off my alarm which was set due to my mom not home, if I don't set an alarm I will not wake up until like 11 am

I got ready in 15 minutes and then I was out the door off to hell, I mean school.

Jacob hasn't texted me all weekend and none of my texts are being delivered, when i got to school I saw him closing our locker and speed walking to his next class, well I guess he's mad at me

I opened the locker again and threw my book bag inside and grabbed my binder and some random book I need for literature

When I got to my first class I realized I had to sit next to Jacob, which I wasn't sure was a good thing or bad thing at the moment but we couldn't switch seats because their assigned so that meant I had to sit next to Jacob and he couldn't avoid me anymore

"We're talking after class" I told him since we both had study hall after, how convenient

He nodded and I realized how tired he looked, I frowned and I was about to ask him about it because it looks like he hasn't slept for days but then the teacher decided it would be a great time to walk in,

Well that's not convenient

When class ended Jacob thought he could sneak passed me so he could ignore me longer but I grabbed his hand and interlocked our hands and grabbed his to the library, which is where study hall is

He sighed but sat down next to me on one of the couches anyway, I still had his hand interlocked with me and I didn't feel like letting go so I just put our hands on my lap

"Jacob what's wrong" I asked

"I'm so sorry" he said quietly as tears rolled down his face

"What are you sorry for?"

"For what I did" he said

I pulled him into a hug and he set his head on my chest and wrapped his arms tightly around me, "shh it's okay" I said rocking us back and forth

"Jacob what did you do?" I asked him
