3rd person pov

"Jacob where are you?" Mark shouted out into the night

"Jacob!" Anyone who was walking by and took a look at Mark would realize how scared the young adult was

Jacob, who was hiding a few feet away from Mark, was also scared, but the boy was scared for other reasons

Mark continued to look for his lover

"Mark" Jacob said walking out from his hiding spot

"Oh my god your okay, I thought something happened" Mark rushed out rushing towards his lover and cradling his face in his hands

"Baby are you okay?" Mark asked looking over his face

"I'm fine love" Jacob said smiling at his loving and concerned boyfriend of 11 years.

"I have something to ask you." Jacob said

"Make Thomas, mark Christopher Thomas, I am so in love with you that I don't even know what I would ever do without you, I love you, I'm in love with you. You mean the world to me and you helped me though everything that happened, even when I relapsed 5 years ago

5 years ago, flashback

"Baby I'm home" Mark yelled into the house the two just bought one year ago

"Jacob where are you?" The blonde boy shouted into the house, he started to then look around the first floor of their house, looking everywhere, finding no trace of his boyfriend of 6 years

"Babe!" Mark shouted making his way upstairs

He started to look around the upstairs checking the guest bathrooms, guest bedroom, their room, and last their bathroom

When Mark went to go open the door he realized it was locked and immediately got worried, the boy knew that this was never good with Jacob, it either meant the boy was very upset or he was taking a shower, and make heard no water

"Babe you in there?" Mark asked, lightly knocking on the door

When he heard nothing the blonde headed boy got even more worried and immediately started to try to break down the door, when he succeeded in opening the door by throwing himself at it he saw his lover, sitting in the corner of the bathtub with blood rushing down his arms

"Baby" Mark said sadly

He rushed to his lover and Jacob jut lowered his head more, ashamed that the voice in his head made him do this, even though he has promised mark that it would never happen again and that he was happy

The boy was happy, Jacob couldn't imagine life getting any better, without Mark even though it was a bet he might not even be here, on this earth right now and he forever thanks Mark for helping Jacob live his life and realize the true feelings of love

"I'm so sorry" Jacob started to sob

"Baby no it's okay, you'll be okay" Mark said stepping into the bathtub and scooping Jacob into his arms and taking Jacob out of the tub, he set Jacob on the bed and walked back into the bathroom to grab some paper towels

When Jacobs arm were clean the two lovers both laid down and Mark wrapped his arms around his lover "it's going to be okay" he said

Flashback over

"-you were there for me. You made me want to live agin after all this time I just wanted to die. Even if it was a bet I'm still thankful for it because if that bet never happened I don't know where I would be right now. You, no matter what we're always there for me after you found out I was depressed, you were scared and left you stayed with me and helped me through it. Mark you are my past, my present and I want you to be my future, I want us to be forever so Mark Thomas-"

Jacob crouched down on one knee and took out the ring "will you be my forever and marry me?" Jacob asked hopefully

Mark looked down at his lover and roughly smashed their lips together

"Yes, yes, i want us to be forever" make said when he pulled away from the kiss

"I love you"

"I love you too" Mark said, and Jacob pulled him into a tight embrace the two laughing together

"I'm happy we're going to be forever and I'm so thankful that I helped to save you cause I don't know where i would be right now, Jacob I'll never stop loving you"

"I'll never stop loving you either" Jacob said, and both boys knew that no matter what the world might happen to thrown their way that the two boy were going to be forever, these two boys were never leaving each other because these two boys wouldn't be happy if they weren't together

These two boy who were brought together by a bet needed each other, forever and always.
