Today is December 31st, New Year's Eve. Me and Jacob were both doing well but I only recently realized that we were never really officially together.

Both of us never put a label on our relationship and just let it be but me? I wanted him to officially be mine before 2017 which meant today I'm asking him to be my boyfriend.

I wasn't really nervous because we are pretty much already dating minus the asking part. It's was 8:35 and I was getting ready to pick up Jacob and go to a New Years party with me, Ariel, Weston, Mario, Zach, Blake, Loren and about 10 other people

When I was ready I walked to Jacobs house to go pick him up, "hi love" I said kissing his lips when he opened the door "hi" he said laughing slightly

"Ready" I asked, when he nodded I grabbed and intertwined our hands and began our walk to Weston's house.

When we arrived at Weston's house we walked in and greeted everyone. I kept hold on Jacobs hand cause he only knew about 3 people here and always freaked out when I left him with a lot of people, while walking past everyone to get to the living room Jacobs grip on my hand tightened

"Babe your fine" I said when we finally reached the living room, "all these people are cool and you can always just stay will me Weston, Mario, and Blake"

He nodded and I kissed his cheek. "Your adorable" I said, Jacob looked down and blushed

"Aww you guys are so cute you maker want to puke" Weston said coming up to us

"Oh Shut up Weston" I said playfully

"Well anyways Mark I need your help with something, can ya help?"

"Uhh" I looked at Jacob and he nodded, "I'll go talk to Mario" he said

"Okay" i said kissing his cheek and following Weston

"So what's up"

"Well I don't need help but I need to tell you something"

"Uh yeah wes, what's up?"

"When are you asking him?"

"Today, why?"

"Mark, it's already 11:30 so I suggest you find him and ask soon so you officially have a boyfriend by 2016."

"Oh shit, thanks Wes. I'll go ask"

"Damn finally, now I can send out those wedding invitations"

"Ugh your the worst" I said

"Awh you love me anyways" he said giving me a sloppy kiss on the cheek

"Your like a dog" I said laughing as I walked away to find Jacob. When I finally spotted him he was talking with Mario and now I only had 15 to tell him

"Hey Jacob, can we talk?" I said walking next to him

"Yeah sure, you okay?" He asked giving me a worried look

"Uh yeah yeah, im fine I just really have to talk to you"

"Okayy"

"Jacob you are a great person and one of my best friends, you are always there for me and I will always be there for you even though us becoming friends wasn't on the good note but I'm actually happy that i took that bet as weird as it seems. These last few months have been crazy but I'm glad it was crazing with you. Jacob, will you be my boyfriend?"

When my speech was done Jacob had tears flowing down his face, "y-yes" he said nodding. I pulled hims into a tight hug and when I let go he smacked his lips onto mine, i lifted him up and he wrapped his legs around me

The countdown to New Years started up and I was still holding Jacob

"2, 1"

"Happy New Years baby" I said

"Happy New Years boyfriend" he said kissing me once again
