Sorry pt.1 {Keith x Reader}

You sat in what was known as the living room on the couch reading an Altean book. "No way! I'm way cooler than you mullet head!" You didn't even have to look up from your book to know that Lance and Keith walked into the room. "Whatever floats your boat Lance." Keith walked towards the kitchen. "You're just jealous that (Y/n) thinks I'm hotter!" You still didn't look up from your book even though Lance had brought you into their stupid argument. "Ha! Like she'd ever think you were hot. She may not do the smartest things at times, but she isn't dumb." You growled and closed your book. Before Lance could say another remark you stood up and walked pass Lance leaving the room annoyed. "Hey (Y/n), could you help me with something?" You glared at Shiro. "Why don't you go ask Allura or Pidge?! I clearly can't make smart decisions maybe because I'm stupid!" You stormed off. Shiro stood there confused. He didn't know why you yelled at him or why you put yourself down like that. Shiro walked into the living room to see Keith and Lance still standing where they were when you left. They heard you yelling at Shiro. "What did you two do this time?"

You had been sitting in Hunk's room since he was kinda your go to guy when Keith and Lance would drag you into something that belittled you or made you feel like they didn't care about you. "(Y/n) it's going to be okay. They just don't realize what they're saying until it's too late. They care about you trust me." You shook your head. "Thanks Hunk. I know what I need to do." You smiled at him and got up going to your room. Hunk smiled feeling like he did something good. You were in your room packing. When you were done you wrote a note laying it on your bed and walked out. You went to the hanger to get in a ship so you could leave. No one had noticed, but that didn't mean they didn't care.

Lance and Keith had been looking everywhere for you. "Allura! We can't find her!" Allura looked at the boys confused. "Is she not with Hunk?" Keith shook his head. "No. He told us all the places she would go, but she wasn't there." Allura thought for a second when Pidge ran in with a note with your handwriting on it. "I found this when I went to (Y/n) room. She's gone. She took a ship and left." Keith and Lance glared at each other. They started bickering. Shiro walked in with Hunk and Coran. Pidge, Shiro, Coran and Allura somehow got pulled into the argument. "Enough! This is the exact reason she left! You guys are always arguing, you belittle her, and you make her feel like she's just a burden. None of you realize how this affects her. You've lost her. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't ever return. Who would with a team like you?" Hunk left pisssed off. Pidge and Shiro went after him. Lance and Coran went to check your room and the hanger to see if they could find any clues to where you went. "Can you track her ship?" Allura smiled and nodded. "Yes I can!" She tracked down where your ship was. It was on an abandoned planet not to far from the ship.

You sat outside of your ship staring at the sky. You hummed an Altean song Allura taught you, but it reminded you of a song that Keith introduced you to. Keith, one of the boys that belittled you, but he also was the hottest in your opinion, with his beautiful blue-grey eyes, adorable smile, black mullet. You blushed and glared at the ground. Why were you thinking about that stupid boy? Because he was your crush whether you liked it or not. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" You looked up then looked around seeing the palidans behind you. You stood up and ran into the abandoned town. You didn't want to talk to them at all. While running through the town you didn't realize how close one of the palidans was to catching you. You looked behind you to make sure you weren't being followed when you ran into someone. That someone was Keith. You backed up ready to run again, but he grabbed your arm. "(Y/n) please wait." You pulled away from him. "Why should I? Would that be a smart thing to do? Or a dumb one?" He sighs and crosses his arms. "You're really still hung up over that? Wow I thought you didn't care what others thought about you." You clenched your face looking down. The others had found you two, but none of them intervened. "I don't." Keith rolls his eyes. "Yeah right. If you get so hung up over a silly thing someone says about you then you're weaker than I thought." You felt tears well up in your eyes as you slap him. "I hate you! I never want to see you again!" You looked at him as the tears fell. "Don't ever look for me again." You turned away from him and ran off. Keith stood the with a red hand print on his cheek. "Smooth move Keith. The girl you like hates you. Not only that, we will never see her again. I hope your happy with yourself." Pidge stormed off back to their lion. "They're right. (Y/n) is never coming back." Lance went after Pidge, Hunk followed him not even looking at Keith. "Keith you really messed up. I'm really disappointed in you." Shiro started to follow the others. Keith went after the others not speaking to the others.

Two years passed since you left. "Keith?" Keith was sitting in your old room as Shiro walked in. "Keith I know you miss her. We all do." Keith looks at Shiro. "Tomorrow is her birthday. The day before we met Allura and Coran." Shiro looked at Keith surprised. "Why didn't we know?" Keith sighs and looks down. "She didn't want to make a big deal about it. I messed up and i can't fix any of it." That's when Coran ran in. "We found her!" Keith and Shiro looked at Coran. Shiro was surprised and Keith was excited. They ran to the control room. "Where is she?" Allura looks at them. "On a beautiful planet known as Talan. Good news, she's doing wonderful. Bad news, we can't meet her in person." Keith looked down sad. Shiro gently places a hand on his shoulder. "We'll figure out how to see her in person." Keith looks up smiling a bit. They got ready and went Talan with a plan. Lance and Hunk would create a distraction while Pidge and Shiro looked for you, once you were found Keith would go and get you. When everything was said and almost done, they found out exactly why you couldn't get reached. You had became the princess of the planet. "Princess you look beautiful. Today is the day you become my queen." The prince of the planet was kind, but spoiled. You didn't like him at all and you missed your friends especially Keith. Your feelings for him only got stronger. "Excuse me you majesty, but there is some commotion going on in the townsquare." The prince frowned and followed the servant to the townsquare. You looked down and sighed. You wore a beautiful purple dress. You didn't care for how it looked. It was too fancy for your taste. You'd rather be wearing your usual black tank top and a size too big purple t-shirt with a black knee length skirt and purple leggings as well as your black and purple boots. "You look pretty for someone so unhappy." You looked up and towards the door to see Keith. You felt so happy to see him, but soon felt mad and looked away from him. "Happy birthday." Your eyes widen as you heard footsteps indicating that he was getting closer. He remembered, out of everyone you cared about he remembered. You smiled as arms wrapped around you. Right when you were about to say something you were being swept right off your feet. You looked at Keith who smirked at you. "Time to go home princess." You blushed and glared at him.

Getting out of the castle was easy, getting out of town unnoticed by townspeople was a bit harder, but getting away from the planet before the prince noticed the princess was gone was a lot tougher. "I got her. Lets go!"
