That night you didn't come back. Too late to go back.

You arrived in another time-dimension, somewhere inner space, there we met. They watched.

We never said hello. It just wasn't us.

It was now us.

A 'corporate' merger, you joked.

We never said goodbye.

Old loves haunt new you.

'He did and I don't want you ...too,' she thought and they read my mind.

It mattered in the past but here was the future: the personal just a pronoun.

He opened their present.

Tick-tock.

Blown to kingdom come.
