My POV

Aphmau plopped on her bed. It's been a long night at her job.

Her boyfriend, Laurence, was out of town for the weekend. She debated whether if she should tell him where she works. (Bring back any memories?)

Suddenly, her phone started ringing.

"Hello?" Aphmau said.

"Hello, is this Aphmau Phoenix?" Said a sweet voice on the other line.

"This is she."

"Are you the girlfriend of Laurence Zvahl?"

"Yes, is something wrong?"

"I'm afraid that Laurence was in a car accident. A drunk taxi driver T boned his car."

"W-Where is he?!" She panicked.

"He's at Meteli Hospital."

"Okay, on my way." Aphmau hung up the phone and ran to her car.

Aphmau ran through the hospital doors. And asked the receptionist where Laurence was.

She ran to Laurence's room. He was still and had cuts and bruises all over his body.

Aphmau grabbed his cold hand. And burst into tears.

Beep Beep

The heart meter was the only thing you could hear. With the sound of sobbing coming from Aphmau.

Laurence opened his eyes. "A-Aphmau?"

Aph jumped. "L-Laurence! Your alive!"

"I'm afraid not for long.." Laurence turned his head.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not going to be alive for much longer. Irene called for me. I'm lucky to be talking to you."

"N-No..Please don't go.." Tears streamed down her face.

"It's not my choice.. Just know I love you with all my heart."

Beep...........Beep

"L-Laurence?"

"I'll see you on the other side."

"DOCTOR!! COME!! HURRY!!" The doctor ran in. The nurses pulled me out of the room.

"I'm sorry. There's nothing we could do. Sadly, Laurence Ace Zvahl has passed."

"N-No..he can't be."

"I'm very sorry. You should go home and get some rest."

Aphmau got up, and walked out the doors. Typically, it started raining. Her whole life was changed forever.
