Chapter 6 (We're Over)

Artemis flashed herself on the beach of Camp Half-Blood and immediately saw the person she was looking for. Annabeth Chase.

"Annabeth Chase," Artemis called out. Annabeth turned around from where she was looking at the water. She immediately got on one knee and lowered her head.

"My Lady," Annabeth said. Artemis should have made her get up, but after what she did Percy she deserved to get on her knee. Artemis pushed those thoughts to the back of her head.

"I heard what had happened," by that time Annabeth had gotten up and was listening to every word that Artemis had to say. "And I think that you are one of the most idiotic demigoddess that has walked on this Earth."

"What did I do?" Annabeth asked. Artemis scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Apparently, you are not one of Athena's spawns," Artemis watched how Annabeth started to get angry.

"I am a child of Athena and one of her greatest–"

"Greatest?" Artemis started laughing, actually laughing and she hadn't done that in forever. "Even your mother will think that is funny."

"I don't know what I did to deserve this from you of all people–"

"You cheated on Percy with a kid that has no brain and no respect!" Artemis didn't yell. She didn't want to bring unwanted attention.

"Kyle killed a hellhound with no training! He was smart enough to do that!"

"Percy killed a fury and a Minotaur with no training when he was 12 years old! Kyle is 16!" Artemis exclaimed. She didn't even know why she came to talk to this brat.

Annabeth looked at her with pure fury in her eyes, choosing not to say anything. Artemis stood there, trying not to look smug. Instead, Artemis sneered at her before flashing away, not giving Annabeth a warning to look away.

Percy pushed at Apollo's chest, breaking their kiss. He looked at Apollo who was staring right back at him with a look of confusion.

"What's wrong?" Apollo asked. Percy bit his lip and looked away. He really didn't want to continue this if they didn't even know what they are.

"What are we?" Percy asked more firmly than last time.

"Whatever you want us to be," Apollo tried to dive in to get another kiss, but Percy was faster. He pushed harder against Apollo's chest. Apollo got up from the couch, a hurt look in his eyes.

"Like I said before, we are going way to fast," Percy looked down at his hands, not daring to look up into Apollo's eyes. "We need to stop."

Apollo looked at him, his jaw clenched tightly. He wasn't angry, not really, but Aphrodite was right. They were going way to fast and Apollo let that get over his head. Like he did with everything else.

"Are you sure?" Apollo didn't let the hurt he felt come out into his voice.

"I'm sure," Percy stood up draping his arms over Apollo's shoulders. Apollo looked at him and couldn't help but think that this might be the last time he will ever see him again. "All the chapters that we haven't read yet, that we haven't gotten to–"

"We're over. I get it," Apollo couldn't help but wrap his arms around Percy's waist, squeezing tightly. He kissed Percy's forehead and tried to step away from him, but Percy didn't let go.

"I'm sorry," Percy's voice wavered. He pulled Apollo in for one last kiss, Apollo kissing back instantly, and left without a glance back at Apollo.

A/N So sorry that I have not been updating at all! Also sorry for the short chapter, but unfortunately I am not continuing this story. 😔 I am going to make a new story, same pairing as this one, but it will develop throughout the book series in Percy Jackson. If you guys are confused on that please comment! I'm terribly sorry for not updating at all, but this book was so cliché, it's what I've read before and I want my fanfiction to be different than everyone else's. I will keep this book up on Wattpad because it's finished, with angst (?). Hopefully you guys will enjoy more of the new book (books) of Apollo and Percy. Have a nice day, even though I might have ruined it for a few of you.
