"Y/N, are you awake?!"
"Y/N, you need to get up!"
"You're going to be late for school!" I groaned at my persistent mother's voice.
"Coming!" I yelled back before laying back down.
"Hey, mum told me to tell you to get your ass out of bed." Luke spoke as he appeared at my door. I looked up at him.
"You have exactly two seconds to get the fuck out of my room." I grumbled.
"Technically, I'm not in your room." He shrugged. I flipped him off.
"Love you too sis, get your ass moving." He chuckled before walking away. I sighed as I stood up and took off my pyjamas, quickly replacing them with shorts and a flannel before grabbing my phone and my bag. I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen before heading to the front door.
"Y/N, where are you going?" I turned to see my parents sitting at the table.
"To school. You said yourself I'm going to be late if I don't leave." I spoke.
"Yeah but honey, you need breakfast, you know it's the most-"
"Important meal of the day, I know." I finished, making her smile. I walked to the table and pecked her on the cheek before walking back to the door.
"Bye mum, bye dad." I spoke as I opened the door.
"Have a good day in hell." Dad joked. I smiled before shutting the door.
"Hey, loser, wait up!" I turned around to see Luke leaving the house.
"What do you want, dork?" I asked.
"I do kind of have to catch the same bus as you. Also, mum told me to give you this." He spoke before throwing me an apple.
"Thanks." I spoke as I caught it.
"Shit." I mumbled as I saw the bus pulling onto my road.
"Luke, run!" I yelled as I set off at a run, eventually sprinting until I was at the doors as they opened. I breathed a sigh of relief as I climbed on.
"Woke up late again, huh?" The bus driver chuckled.
"You know me too well." I smiled. He chuckled again as I sat down next to Amanda.
"Hey." I smiled.
"Hey girl." She returned it.
"What are you so smiley about?" I chuckled.
"I'm taking you haven't seen your new neighbour yet." She spoke. I shook my head.
"I'm jealous." She giggled.
"Why?" I questioned.
"He's such a hottie. He's so tanned like he's just come out of Hawaii, he has stunning eyes, he's got this blond streak sitting on a head of dark hair, he's even got fucking tattoos-"
"Okay I get it, you have the hots for my new neighbour." I chuckled.
"Not as much as I have the hots for your brother." She mumbled.
"I heard that, you dick." I groaned.
"I don't get you, I mean, it's not even like he's an older guy, you're freaking twins." She laughed.
"He's still my brother, and you're my best friend, it's not going to happen." I shrugged.
"Fine, bitch." She chuckled.

I stood at my locker, sifting through the paperwork that I had shoved in there earlier on. I sighed as I shut my locker door.
"Jesus!" I hissed at my brother. He smirked at me.
"Don't do that." I scolded as I smacked his arm.
"Ow, hey, don't hit your elders." He laughed.
"Oh get over yourself Luke, you've been using the whole I'm two minutes older than you card for the past sixteen years." I groaned.
"So?" He chuckled.
"So it's getting old." I sighed.
"It'll never get old." He grinned before his eyes drifted past me.
"You not wanting to get in on that action?" He asked. I turned around and sighed at the group of girls squealing and huddled around someone.
"Nope. I choose life." I mumbled.
"Who is it?" I asked, looking back at Luke.
"Apparently he's our new neighbour. All the girls have been banging on about all morning is how stunning he is." He shrugged. I looked back at the group briefly, trying to get a glimpse of the mystery boy but not getting past the sea of fake blonde hair and extensions.
"Well, I guess we'll find out soon. Mum will no doubt insist we go and say hi when we get home." I muttered, suddenly dreading meeting the new neighbours.
"Uh huh. I'll see you on the other side." He spoke, holding out his fist.
"Yup." I nodded, fist-bumping him before walking away.

I shut the door and saw my parents.
"Hey." I sighed.
"You alright, love?" Dad asked.
"Yeah, I'm just tired. I think I'll just head to bed." I spoke.
"Okay, honey, come down for food in a bit." Mum spoke.
"Will do." I smiled before heading upstairs. I dropped my bag. Suddenly, I glanced out of the window and into the neighbour's window. I studied the boy who was moving around in there, skimming my eyes over his bare caramel back. I looked away and stripped of my clothing, leaving me in just my bra and underwear before I slumped down onto my bed. I sighed as my eyes fluttered shut.

Calum's P.O.V

"I cannot believe you got drunk on the first night in the new house!" Calum's mum screeched at him. He sighed, sitting on his bed as he rubbed over his face.
"I know it was a mistake, mum-"
"No shit, Calum! We never had this issue with Mali when she was sixteen!" She hissed.
"Yeah, well I'm not Mali." He shrugged. His mum sighed.
"This is meant to be a new start for us, Cal." She spoke.
"Mum, I said I'm sorry-"
"Sorry doesn't cut it anymore, Calum Thomas." She spat.
"You're grounded." She decided. Calum's eyes widened as he stood up.
"Mum, you can't do that-"
"I am your mother, of course I can." She scoffed. He groaned.
"Come down for dinner at eight but apart from that, you stay in your room." She demanded.
"Mum, come on-"
"Calum." She warned.
"Fine." He groaned. She nodded before leaving his room and shutting the door.
"Fuck that." He scoffed, rushing to his window. He quietly slid it up and climbed out of it.
"Oh shit, that's high." He breathed, making the mistake of looking down.
"Get a fucking grip, Calum." He mumbled to himself before grabbing onto a brick that was sticking slightly out of the neighbour's wall. He jumped across and grabbed onto the window. His eyes widened as he saw a girl sleeping on the bed, her back turned to him.
"Wow." He whispered, admiring how her hair was falling over her shoulders.
"Okay, Calum, easy, don't wake the sleeping beauty." He mumbled to himself as he slowly slid the window open.

Y/N's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and looked around as I heard something. I sat up and looked at my window. I gasped as I saw a boy about my age rolling into my room.
"Who the fuck are you?" I hissed at him.
"Your new neighbour." He smiled. I stood up and went to him. Suddenly, his eyes trailed down my body as his lips curled into a smirk.
"Wow. It's as if you were waiting for me." He grinned. I scoffed at him as I felt my cheeks redden. I quickly grabbed an oversized dress shirt that was sat on the end of my bed and put it on before buttoning it up.
"Aww." He pouted.
"Who the fuck are you?" I spat.
"I'm Calum." He smiled, outstretching his hand.
"What the fuck are you doing in my room?" I sneered.
"I'm grounded and I had to get out somehow. Anyway, what's your name?" He asked. I sighed.
"Y/N." I spoke.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N." He nodded.
"Wait, you look familiar." He said.
"Excuse me?" I scoffed.
"You're...Luke's sister, aren't you?" He asked slowly.
"Yeah, we're twins." I nodded. His eyes widened.
"Well that may cause some trouble in the future." He mumbled.
"What are you talking about?" I questioned.
"Never mind." He shook his head.
"What are you grounded for?" I asked as I sat back down on my bed.
"Came home drunk last night." He shrugged. My eyes widened.
"Wait, how old are you?" I asked.
"Sixteen, same as you I've been told." He spoke.
"And you came home drunk?" I scoffed. He looked at me.
"You're a bit of a goody two shoes, aren't you?" He chuckled. I paused.
"Shut up." I mumbled. He laughed. Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming to my door. Calum's eyes widened as he suddenly grabbed me and put a hand over my mouth, wrapping an arm around my waist so my back was pressed against his chest. I started to scream as he backed up against the wall.
"Shush, please!" He whispered.
"Please, I'm not going to do anything, please." He hissed. Before long, the footsteps were gone. Calum sighed in relief as he let me go.
"What the fuck?!" I hissed.
"I'm sorry, I risk being fucking locked in my room by being here." He sighed. I shook my head.
"On a serious note, I would like to get to know you." He spoke. My eyes widened.
"Are you serious?" I scoffed. He nodded.
"Look, I've only just met you, I don't know anything about you." I shrugged.
"Well I think it would be a good idea to know each other, considering the fact we're going to be spending a lot of time together, now that we're neighbours." He chuckled.
"Anyway, I've got to dash, I'll see you later." He spoke as he put one leg out of my window before jumping out.
