It had been a few months since Calum had moved in next door and we had somehow become the best of friends. I sighed as I sat at my desk, trying to study as All time low filled my ears. I frowned as I felt something moving behind me. I took out my earphones but couldn't hear anything.
"Boo." I screamed as I jumped up and turned around to see Calum laughing his ass off.
"Calum! You asshole!" I yelled as I whacked him on the arm.
"Ow." He laughed.
"I'm going to get you for that!" He laughed as he rushed towards me.
"No!" I squealed as his arms flew around my waist and he started to tickle me.
"Calum! Stop!" I laughed as he carried me to my bed and continued to tickle me.
"Stop or you'll get a hard kick in the balls!" I threatened. He stopped and held his hands up in defence.
"Okay, don't do anything drastic." He joked. I chuckled as he took my phone and sat on my bed. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at me.
"You like All time low?" He asked. I looked at my walls, at the posters that littered them.
"No, I hate them." I replied. He chuckled as I sat next to him.
"Time to relax." Calum smiled, laying down and resting his head on my lap. He looked up at me as I ran my hands through his hair.
"So, did you ask Cassie out today?" I asked him. He paused.
"Um, no, I decided against it." He spoke quietly. My eyes widened.
"What? Why? You really liked her." I stated.
"I did but..." he stopped.
"But what, Calum?" I asked. He shook his head and sat up before looking at me.
"Let's just say I now like someone else." He smiled at me.
"Ooh. Care to tell me who this new girl is then?" I chuckled. He returned it and shook his head as he laid back on my bed.
"That's a story for another night. We should get to bed, it's getting late." He spoke.
"I guess you're staying over then." I said.
"Yup." He nodded. I returned it as I laid back and rested my head on his arm.
"Night Y/N." he mumbled.
"Night Calum." I returned before closing my eyes.

I smiled down at my phone as Calum rolled in through my window.
"Calum, oh my god, you'll never guess what just happened!" I squealed as he stood up.
"Give me three tries." He joked.
"Phil asked me out!" I smiled. His smile faltered.
"Really?" He spoke.
"Yeah! I said yes." I squealed, causing his smile to disappear completely.
"Oh." He muttered.
"What's wrong? Are you not happy for me?" I asked.
"No I am, it's just..." He muttered.
"Just what?" I asked.
"It doesn't matter." He mumbled, shaking his head.
"Calum, tell me." I insisted.
"You really want to know?" He spat. My eyes widened as I nodded.
"You shouldn't have said yes to him." He shrugged. I scoffed at him.
"What makes you figure that?" I asked.
"He's not a good guy." He spoke.
"How the fuck would you know? You've only been in this town for a year." I scoffed.
"He's the type of guy who asks out some weak girl to get into her pants, then once he does that, he's gone." He snapped. My eyes widened further at him.
"Did you just call me weak?" I spat.
"That's not what I meant-"
"What the fuck did you mean then?!"
"I meant you're too blind to see that Phil isn't a good guy!" He yelled. I scoffed and looked down as I felt tears pricking my eyes.
"I think you should leave now." I mumbled.
"Fine. But don't come running to me when Phil dumps you." Calum scoffed before climbing back out the window. I sat on my bed as I let the tears fall.
