opened my eyes and sat up. I breathed in and out but that only made me feel more sick. I held my stomach.
"Babe, you okay?" I turned around to see Calum now up.
"I feel really ill." I gulped.
"Oh." He spoke.
"I'm going to be sick." I spoke before shooting up and rushing into the bathroom. I opened the toilet seat and vomited.
"Jesus, are you okay?" Calum asked as he appeared at the doorway.
"Yeah, maybe I just ate something-" my eyes widened as I realised.
"What?" He asked. I looked at him.
"We haven't been using protection." I gulped. His eyes widened.
"I thought you were on birth control." He mumbled. I shook my head.
"How could we be so reckless?! Why didn't we check-"
"Hey, hey it's okay." He reassured as he took my face. I looked up at him.
"You might not be pregnant. But even if you are, that's okay. We're married, we're happy, we're ready for a baby if you're pregnant." He reassured. I nodded and pecked his lips.

I looked down at the pregnancy test, holding it with shaky hands. I breathed out as the lines appeared.
"Babe?" Calum's muffled voice sounded. I opened the door and looked at him.
"What does it say?" He asked hopefully.
"I'm pregnant." I smiled. His eyes lit up as he picked me up and spun me around, making me laugh.
"We're finally going to have a family." He beamed.
"I can't wait." I smiled, passionately kissing him.

I opened my eyes as I heard something. I looked at the other side of my bed and sighed as it was still empty. I tried to picture Calum laying there. Tears pricked my eyes at the thought. Suddenly, the window opened. I shot up and stood by it. My breath hitched as a figure rolled through the window and stood up.
"Oh my god Calum!" I squealed as I hugged him.
"Hey babe." He smiled as he buried his face in my hair.
"Why the fuck did you come in through the window, you nearly gave me a heart attack." I sighed as I stroked the hair at the nape of his neck.
"That's how we met. I thought it would be a romantic gesture for coming home from tour." He shrugged.
"That's sweet, you're such a dork." I chuckled as I pecked his lips.
"I missed you two." He smiled.
"We missed you too. She's been kicking like crazy since she stopped getting to talk to her daddy." I chuckled, holding my stomach. He looked down at it.
"Wow, she's getting big." He spoke, putting his hands on my bump.
"Well I am seven months along." I chuckled. He returned it before getting down on his knees in front of me and holding my waist.
"Hey baby Hood." He spoke, looking up at me as he kissed my bump.
"It's okay, you can stop kicking mummy now, daddy's home." He smiled. I returned it as I ran my hands through his hair.
"You're getting big now. Not too much longer before you get here. And I can't wait." He smiled.
"I'll talk to you later, baby girl." He spoke, kissing my bump before standing up again.
"She stopped kicking yet?" He asked. I paused before smiling.
"Yes." I chuckled. He returned it before taking my hand.
"Come on baby, it's late, we should sleep." He spoke as he took off his shirt and crawled into bed. I sat down carefully before putting my legs under the cover and laying on my side, my back facing Calum. I smiled as his arm curled around my waist, landing his hand against my bump. I rested my hand over his hand.
"Goodnight baby girl." Calum whispered in my ear, gently peppering kissed along my neck.
"Goodnight babe." I returned before closing my eyes again.

My eyes shot open and I looked around. Calum's hand was on my bump, like usual. Pain shot through my stomach as I cried out and sat up, holding my stomach.
"Baby, what's wrong?" I looked at Calum to see his eyebrows knotted.
"I-I don't know." I stuttered. I looked at the sheets to see a wet patch.
"I'm in labour." I spoke as I stood up. Calum's eyes widened as he sat up.
"Wait, what? You're not due until next week-" I cried out as another contraction swept through my stomach.
"Jesus okay." He gulped as he stood up and rushed to get a bag together.
"Calum, hurry." I spoke as I held my stomach.
"I know, baby." He said as he pulled a shirt on.
"Come on." He smiled as he took my hand and helped me up. I breathed in and out, grasping onto Calum as we walked to the front door. I cried out as I got another contraction.
"It hurts, Calum." I cried as my grip on him tightened.
"I know honey, but you're doing so well." He reassured, placing a kiss on my head as he opened the front door. He helped me into the car and shut the door before rushing to the other side and climbing in. We sped off to the hospital and Calum helped me in.
"Help! My wife is in labour, someone help!" He yelled as I held my bump. A nurse rushed to us with a wheelchair and pushed me in.
"How far apart are the contractions?" She asked.
"Um, a few minutes I think." He gulped as I was wheeled into a room.
"Come on babe." Calum smiled as he helped me into the bed.
"You might want to get some rest, Mrs Hood, your baby will be here soon." The nurse spoke before walking away. I sighed as I held my stomach.
"You okay, honey?" Calum asked, sitting in the chair beside my bed and gripping my hand.
"Yeah, it just...it lives up to the amount of pain that you expect." I spoke as I closed my eyes.
"It's going to be okay. She'll be here soon." He reassured before kissing my head. I nodded as I closed my eyes again.

"Come on, Mrs Hood, another push." The nurse encouraged. I squeezed my eyes shut as I pushed again, grasping Calum's hand.
"You've got this, baby, come on." He spoke. I pushed again.
"One more push, Mrs Hood, one more push and then baby Hood will be here." The nurse spoke. I pushed again. Suddenly, we heard crying. Calum looked at me.
"Well done honey, you did it." He smiled before kissing my head. I looked at the nurse to see her wrapping our baby in a pink blanket.
"You want to hold your daughter?" The nurse asked. I nodded as I outstretched my arms. She placed her in them and I closed my arms around her small body. She gurgled quietly. I smiled as I looked at Calum.
"You want to hold her?" I asked. He nodded. I gently handed her over to him.
"She's beautiful." He choked.
"She looks like you." I spoke. He smiled at me.
"What do you want to call her?" I asked.
"I was thinking Dove Elizabeth Mali-Koa Hood." He spoke.
"Wow, you've really thought about this, haven't you?" I chuckled.
"Yeah, well, you know how close I am to Mali and you wanted her middle name to be Elizabeth so I incorporated both." He spoke.
"I like it. It's unique." I nodded.
