Will didn't understand how someone could be so flawless.
Mike had perfect cheekbones, an adorable nose, soft dark hair.
And then Will was Will.
He only cared about what he thought of Mike and what other people thought of himself.
Will was short, brunette, scrawny and worst of all, Will liked boys.
His father had always bullied him for this, calling him a queer and saying he needed to grow up and be a man.
Will didn't want to, he didn't want to act tough, he didn't want to like girls.
Will didn't think he was being childish either.
Will was okay with being the way he was.
He knew that Mike liked girls.
He knew that there was no way he could end up with someone like Mike, no matter how much he dreamed of it.
