Harry had went through the rest of the day not speaking to anyone. He attempted to talk with Ron, but he was still angry at Harry. During lunch, Harry watched as Draco stole the food of a Hufflepuff and smiled while doing it. At nine o'clock Harry headed to the outside of dungeons and waited. He waited, and waited, and waited until he thought Draco had tricked him. The second Harry thought this Draco came strolling his way. "Hi, Potter." Draco looked as if he'd just killed someone and was happy about it. "Change of plans. I actually need a slight favor."

"What's the favor?"

"I want you to convince one of the Slytherin girls to go out with me. Surprisingly, they refuse when I ask. Then again I suppose that isn't surprising."

"Draco, I just wanted to say that I-" Harry was about to explain to Draco that maybe there were feelings between them and this wasn't a great idea, but Draco cut him off before he could say so."

"Did I ask you to talk to me? I said speak with a Slytherin girl and now that we've made what I want clear I believe were done here." Draco walked away and headed back towards the Slytherin common room. Truth was that he really didn't want a Slytherin girl and he sure as heck could get one if he pleased, but it was better to lie about that then to be honest that he liked a Gryffindor boy. Harry was dumbfounded and upset that Draco would rather a Slytherin girl than him, but he supposed that he had his chance and blew it so he would do his best to move on. He convinced some random girl to talk to Draco and they ended up becoming friend and then became more than friends. Harry didn't mind and his feelings for Draco started to fade as Ron had said. Him and Ron made up and Ron just refused to speak of the events.

After Harry had defeated the basilisk, postponed Voldemort's reign of power and the year had ended, Harry was upset that he must return to the Muggles that raised him. A week after returning to the Dursley's he'd already been sick of them once again. Exactly on the seventh day (the same day he received a call from Ron which angered the Dursleys) during dinner he received a letter delivered by an owl that flew threw the window. Mrs. Dursley and Dudley hid under the table while Mr. Dursley screamed at Harry on the top of his lungs. Harry tuned him out and took the letter from the owl. It was from Draco Malfoy... and as soon as Harry saw his name on the black envelope Mr. Dursley grabbed it out of his hand. "Draco? You ruined a calm family dinner for a boy who's name is Draco!" He teared the envelope open and read the letter:

Dear Potter,
I never truly loved that girl. She was just to try and make me forget about you. To no ones surprise it didn't work and since summer has started you are all I've thought about. I had my father find out where you are at the moment and I'm heading to you as fast as I can. You'll know I'm there for I will destroy anyone who stands in my way of getting to you especially the Muggles you have for a family. Unfortunately you don't have a choice for I have decided you will come live with me for the rest of summer. My father is preoccupied so hiding you in my house will be easy. See you in a matter of days.
Sincerely,
Draco Malfoy

Mr. Dursley read it aloud and looked stunned. He lost all color in his face and stared blankly at the words on the page. Mrs. Dursley got up from under the table and stared at Harry not being able to say a word. Dudley was the first one to break the silence by saying, "He sounds like a loser, but I suppose that's the best you could do friend wise." Harry didn't reply, but became extremely angered by this remark which scared Mrs. Dursley and she pulled Dudley closer to her.

"Harry, you are to message this boy immediately and stop him from coming near this house. Do you understand?" Me. Dursley said while looking angrier and more fearful of Harry than he ever had before.

"I'm afraid there isn't a way to stop him. You forbade me from using my owl, remember? Also he's as stubborn as a mule and as evil as they come." Harry hoped by calling him evil he'd scare the Dursleys and it worked. For the next few days they stayed ten feet away from Harry at all times and left the house whenever they could. The only option Harry had was to wait for Draco.
