"I think I like those on you." Brazil said nodding her head as she looked the four girls over.

"I don't know. Alycia pink is not your color." Daysia said looking her way.

"Fuck off."

"Annick." Brazil said, trying to get her attention but she she staring into space.

Miciah pinched her butt making her squeal.

"What is it?"

"Your dress is showing a lot cleavage. We can get it altered or are you fine?"

"Um...what was the question?"

"Jesus it's not that hard." Miciah sighed.

"Your dress. Does your dress fit alright?"

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"Alright you ain't slick. What's been going on?" Daysia asked.

"I've just..."

"We know we know. You've been taking care of your ex man. No worries. Just...don't wear yourself out." Brazil said.

"Wear myself out?"

"Yes. Spend all your time worrying will...distract you." Daysia translated.

Annick sighed, nodding.

"Are you going to the thingy on Friday?" Miciah asked.

"The funeral? Yes I am."

"How is he?"

"He's...blanked out."

"How blanked out?"

"Pretty blanked out. It gets worse and worse everyday."

"Maybe he should see someone."

"He doesn't need to. He has me."

The four all exchanged looks.

"What?"

"Annick. You're not exactly emotionally stable."

"Okay? Who here is?"

"Good point. But you have obligations. I know you're worried about him. We all are."

"Are you?"

"What?"

"Are you actually worried about him? Or are you worried about me being too occupied to participate in your precious wedding?"

Every girl turned to her.

"I think it just got personal." Alycia whispered.

"Look. Can't you just talk to us instead being weird...again?"

Annick sighed getting up to change her clothes.

"Annick, maybe it is about to hr wedding. You gotta think about other people." Miciah said on the outside of the curtain.

"I'm thinking about the one who's best friend died." She replied on the other side.

"His best friend died not yours."

"I'm just worried about him dammit."

"Be worried. But we're worried about you. You're acting crazy."
