lovely one, inspired by a particularly poetic line by @spookyangelo

lovely one, please remove your hands

from your mind's eye,

so i can see what you see

behind your brown eyes, blue sky

and pink marble fingertips

touching my glass mind.

lovely one, please don't be afraid

of my pale-blue lips,

cold without the warmth of yours

to fill me with life, bright-eyes

feather-soft words whispering

let go of your clenched fingers.

bright-eyes, won't you tell me

what has tears on your rosy cheeks

eyelashes stuck together with gloss

and little leaves in your hair,

pulled apart by the wind

your mouth moving

but i can't hear you, black-eyes

i don't love you either

cake

eat cake. i kissed his eyelids bright blue frosting pink

flowers that race across his cheeks but without petals since,

see the flowers are in my head and so is he
