Blood rushed to my face. "Don't call Hermione that."
"I can call her whatever I want Blaise, what's gotten into you?"
"What do you mean, what's gotten into me? Maybe I'm becoming a better person!"
"You were good as you were! You're not a stupid Hufflepuff, you are a Slytherin! You are ambitious, and cunning, not kind and helpless!"
(These are not my views on Hufflepuff, my best friend is a Hufflepuff and she's great.)
"Hufflepuffs," I said, almost shouting, "Are among the best people I know."
He fell silent.
"Well if this is how you're going to be," he said, and left the room.
