Two words that hold so much meaning behind them,
Two words that can possess more than diamonds or gems
Two words that run deeper than hugs or kisses,
Two words than can glue back all the broken pieces
A thank you can not be said without the utmost heartfelt pride,
And all those selfless deeds, with a thank you they're amplified
A thank you is the least one can possible do to give back,
The love they once received with the gifts they now lack
But one thank you can bring all the light flooding back in,
Into a person's eyes whom all these years were dimmed
A thank you is the least one can do to repay a favor,
A thank you could vanish all the immodesty savors
Sometimes the best medicine to any inflicted pain,
Is to utter a simple thank you and dry away the rain.
