He broke my heart and I broke his right back, it was destiny,
He tried to plunge me back into the sea of love, but now I'm truly free
I escaped the curse he cast me under and blindfolded I am no more,
I no longer have to be the shadow to his light, like a free bird I could soar
No more are the restrictions put on my head for what I must do and what not,
For at last I have been given the freedom after years of having fought
I no longer have his chains pulling me down into his ravenous clutches day by day,
For now I've unlocked them and am a new soul, never again will I have to see his face
What happened has happened and there's no use crying now,
I've got what was to come to me, somewhere and somehow
I will rise as a formidable, stronger me
And the game left discarded was just destiny.
