Old is gold, but gold isn't always perfect,
It isn't always about the history, sometimes it's just your mindset
But it's hard not to love those crinkles and that smile,
Exterior beauty fades, but kind hearts never die
The oldest are the wisest with the knowledge spreading fast,
To generations far ahead, the remedies becoming vast
The oldest are the ones who'd change your world forever,
They'd give you anything you could wish for, whenever
Old is gold but isn't always flawless,
But it's those imperfections that make it perfect, it's those that give us solace.
