As you left me stranded in the middle of nowhere, Expecting me to stay off my feet,
As you left me withered on the stone cold floor,
You thought I was destined to retreatYou thought I was delicate, a fragile doll,
Who was to be broken at the touch of your hand,
You thought you were powerful, that I wasn't worth your time,
You could end the lives on commandAs you left me there, you thought I was gone,
Your over-confidence got me back on my feet,
As you were blinded by my act of vulnerability,
You were slowly backing up in defeatI was stronger than you'll ever be with my words being bittersweet,
I could steal the crown from the top of your head,
The delicate doll's actions were discreetWhat you failed to understand is that no matter how much,
You've tried to harm me in the past,
I'll always be three steps ahead of you,
So you'll have to watch out and think fast.
~ViaYou might think you're better than me in everything and I'm just there to follow and lose, but what you fail to understand is how easy it is for me to get back on my feet and throw you down. The more time you spend laughing while I'm on the floor, the less time you'll have to defend when I come raging back.
