Waking Clint, only to find out he is ill.

You hadn't long been up but you got the coffee going and you went to wake Clint, he was still sleeping on the bed, laying on his chest, with his arms pillowing his head as they laid under the pillow. You lean over and kiss his cheek as you rub his back lightly knowing he slept without his hearing aids. Clint shifts and groans, moving and turning to face you, rubbing his face tiredly, his eyes shifting around to the clock and groans before settling on you. "I'm so tired," he says, his voice sounding rougher than normal, which causes you to cup his cheek and feel his forehead, checking his temperature, feeling him burn up you sigh, "Ah Clint," you say, making sure he can read your lips and he groans. "I feel terrible, "he says and you can't help but smile at his childish whine, you lean forward and peck his lips, "I'll get you something to drink and some medication," you inform him and he smiles at you and signs his thanks and you laugh quietly knowing that it was very unlikely if not impossible to get him to wear his hearing aids whilst he was sick. You climb off the bed and return a little while later with some coffee and some aspirin and he made an appreciative noise as he took them from you and popped a pill and sipped his coffee, hissing, "ah coffee no," before setting it back down and then getting himself comfy against the headboard, "Cuddle with me?" he asks and you laugh, doing as requested.

For the rest of the day, Clint was grumpy and insisted the two of you do nothing but cuddle in bed, the only exception being getting food. You were right when you thought he wouldn't put his hearing aids in, he wouldn't put them in and instead resulted in signing to you if he wanted to talk, not like the two of you did much of that, Clint slept most of the time when he was sleeping. You used the time catching up on paperwork, napping or watching him sleep, running your fingers through his hair as he slept. You both loved and hated when he was sick, you loved it because he was more clingy and cuddly but you hated it because he was grumpier and he refused to wear his hearing aids and so the two of you would result in having to sign.
