Edith held the blanket close to her body as she sat on her tree swing, listening to the officer asking her questions before she turned to her sister who was in the same predicament only she was being escorted to an ambulance.

            "Ma'am?" the officer asked.

Edith turned back to the officer "I'm sorry, what was the question?" she asked.

"Did Mr. Turner assault you any other way?" the officer asked.

Edith shook her head "No, he did not." She said.

The officer nodded "Alright then, Ms. Harris, this officer is going to escort you to the ambulance and we're going to get you checked out, okay" he said, walking away.

Edith sighed as an officer took her arm and helped her out of the chair as he guided her to the same ambulance Casey was being carried into.

The coroner walked by with a body bag, Edith grabbed the handle and stopped the gurney and pulled the bag back to see Keith.

It was obvious that he was dead, and that he was no longer going to be able to hurt her or stalk her; she took a deep breathe as she covered up the man again and began to walk with the officer.

"You're going to be just fine." The officer comforted her.

Edith nodded as she pulled herself into the ambulance and sat next to her sister, the both of them looking at each other with comfort in their eyes.

Casey took her sisters hand as Edith rested her head on her sisters' shoulder, closing her eyes as she finally relaxed.

"So now what?" Edith asked out loud.

Casey shrugged her shoulders "Bury our parents, fix and then sell the house…try and move on with our lives." She said gently.

Edith nodded "Sounds like the logical way to go." She said.

She turned to Casey and sighed "…did they, did they find mom?" she asked.

Casey sighed "She was in the tub." She said bluntly, she left it at that as she looked out the ambulance to watch the action continuing to build around the vacation house.

Edith turned just in time to witness the local news station parking in the already crowded driveway, she saw the coroners putting Keith's body into the back of a van before they prepared to leave the scene as well.

The youngest turned to her older sister, looking at her for a second before she began to sob, leaning on her sister's shoulder as Casey began to hold her.

"That's right, let it out. It's all over, Edie." Casey said, comforting her sister as she stroked her back gently through her blanket.

Edith began to hyperventilate as she began to shed an entire river onto her sisters' blanket when a paramedic gently knocked against the ambulance door.

The sisters turned to the paramedic, Edith wiping away tears as she tried to get control of herself when the paramedic gently smiled at the both of them.

"You two ladies, ready?" he asked.

Casey and Edith nodded in unison, taking each others hands once again as the paramedic closed the door and walked around to get inside the driver seat.

As they drove off and away from the crime scene, Edith took a breathe of relief; deep down she knew that it was all over, her amnesia no longer haunted her as the house began to hide itself within the trees.

No longer to be seen again by either sister ever again.
